Europa League

It’s a mix of the following:
1) Game on TV.
2) Lack of atmosphere at games now.
3) Our terrible home record where there is little anticipation of a win.
4) Midweek fixtures are difficult for many of our fans.
5) The disloyalty of some of our players and total disillusionment with modern football.
6) The crushing disappointment of Saturday.

Personally, I’m not surprised.

Add to that all the uncertainty over Sage if true or not agree perfect storm .A couple of wins or performances though soon puts thing right.

It's on TV but you're right I should spend £25 on a ticket, £40 for rail travel, another score for refreshments just to keep the numbers up. And get back to the south coast at 1pm in the morning - if I'm lucky.
Your lucky I have to get up 2 hours before going to bed , drive 3 hours just to get past birmingham get to london , then find safe parking traveling back avoiding road works on motor way , get in just as the pubs open , all that for 25 ticket 85 for petrol cost of parking maybe , 25 on food and drink no alcohol , stop for breakfast service station get beaten by the wife with barb wire on my bum , the trauma I have to go through , to watch us you wouldn't believe 😇😇😇🙄🙄🙄🙄

And to think 30 odd years ago when I lived in South Norwood, I used to moan about the walk up to the ground from my abode off Portland Road 🤣

What? What? The games on tv so that means we don't need to turn up?

Ffs! I wish someone had told me that about the fa cup final! I wouldn't have wasted my money on a match ticket!

When we finished 3rd in the old first division, the average gate I think was around 17 thousand. Back in the mid 80s we would regularly see crowds of 4 thousand.

The truth is, we may just be a poorly supported club.

We’re not. This was shown by the number of fans in Leipzig, Selhurst, Box Park and hundreds of packed pubs for the Euro Final. It’s just that the support is spread all over South London, Surrey, Kent, Sussex and beyond making midweek attendance a pain if not impossible. If this was a weekend game it would have sold out for sure. Also the difficulty of non-season ticket holders getting to watch games on a semi-regular basis has created an army of armchair fans who have simply got out of the habit of going to Palace.

No idea what the team will be tonight.
My guess,
Benitez
Mingueza
Canvot
Disasi
Ahanor
Mitchell
Lerma
Hughes
Sarr
Nketiah
Pino

I reckon I'll have 8 right at best.
Can anybody beat that?
