No but they don’t have tits !Do boy band members have a long history of fighting against a lack of focus on their singing and dancing abilities?

Women are generally lovely. Wimbledon and athletes why don’t they wear long trousers or wear shorts. Because the female MO going back forever was to look good for men. Thats it.!They could do these days!

A tiny amount actually don’t want to be ogled and go in the shower bank but most lie that they don’t !

SO WHAT PART OF 'NOT BEING RESPECTED' DOESN'T MAKE SENSE? YOU SAID IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. WHY DOESN'T IT MAKE SENSE!?
It's definitely deliberate![]()

Give me strength.

You need to be told why It doesn't make sense? Ok....and to be fair to me, I'd thought I'd made this clear.....It's because she is attributing attitudes to people who doesn't know.
How the feck does she know that people who fancy her or other sportswomen don't respect them?
It makes no sense.....So if I fancy someone I don't respect them? Errrr.....what? It's another non sequitor. It's making a judgement of another human being that she knows nothing about....She's made up a fantasy figure and projects negative intent upon them.
England
I think you need some common sense rather a bit more.
USA
Yeah, obviously common sense for men on a forum to decide that all but a tiny percentage of women love being ogled and fantasised over by strangers.
Good old common sense 👍

Finally, an explanation... although you're obviously conflating different arguments. Nobody is saying that if you find a sportswoman attractive, you therefore don't respect her talent. Obviously you can fancy someone and respect them.
The point is about what is being emphasised about the athlete - there is obviously an enormous difference between an individual viewer finding an athlete attractive and a broadcaster/advertising company/sponsor deliberately using a woman's sexual appeal as the primary mechanism for attracting attention. That is the dynamic I was describing in sportswomen wanted to be respected, not fancied.
You don't need to know what every individual viewer thinks to criticise that dynamic. If an advert for a female football team consisted entirely of snaps in the shower, you could very reasonably argue it was reducing the players to their sex appeal... saying 'but how do you know people don't also respect their football!?' would in no way deal with that criticism.
Common sense, aye.

And that's the crux of it. If this was a "dove advert" style thing showing all the female pigs of the world doing sport but wearing fk.all and yet acting sexually then you wouldn't have the BBC, Guardian and other woke agenda agencies complaining and publishing it.
Well done Sweeney for just being female
England
That's exactly what they are implying.
The difference is a distinction without a difference.
People find whatever attractive. It is not something for sportswomen or anyone else for that matter to tone police others on what attitudes someone should have when watching media.....which often they have paid to see.
I'll repeat, not only are these sportswomen making assumptions about other men they refer to but they are also attributing negative attitudes towards them with no basis in knowledge other than their own prejudices. Whether they are respected by watching men for their abilities or not it's an absurd argument not only for its assumptions of men they don't know but also for its shaming and the attempt at control.......Something TV companies are enforcing, which is another ridiculous outcome.
If these comments and assumptions were being made on women's viewing habits I'm sure these same people wouldn't appreciate it.
USA
Again, 'sportswomen want to be respected, not fancied' does not mean 'if you fancy a sportswoman you don't respect her” - so no, the implication your suggesting is nonsense.

Sport. A nobody women's Pole vaulter would sell a lot more T shirts the Billy Jean King. Even though the latter was a far better Tennis champion. Spnsorship makes money.....just ask Tiger Woods.

I must learn my lesson.....You can't reason with these people.
England
Yeah but you mustn't look at her tits, because that's a negative for some reason.....No you must only admire her skills in her event and only that because otherwise it's going to annoy the feminists and simps.....Apparently it'll mean girls won't want to pursue sports or some other horsesh1t nonsense made up to blame men for female choices.
Puritanical weirdos.

Off you trot.
