Total number of British nationals imprisoned for rape and other sexual offences= 4,660 (92%)
Total number of Foreign nationals imprisoned for these offences= 421 (8%)
Total number of all offences= 5,081
Stats 2025
Total number of British nationals imprisoned for rape and other sexual offences= 14,600 (89%)
Total number of Foriegn nationals imprisoned for these offences= 1,731 (11%)
Total for all offences= 16,331

What is clear from these stats is the level of offending has massively increased in the last 25 years. This is the figure folk should be worried about. Yes the proportionate share of these offences by foriegn nationals (the data doesnt split by status) has increased by 3% from 8 to 11%.

So if for example all foreigners were banned from the UK what about the 89% of offenders, the British nationals? Is this level of offending ok?

A rape or sexual assault has the same impact on a victim regardless of the perpetrators' nationality or migrant status
and
A rape or sexual assault has the same impact on a victim regardless of the perpetrators' skin colour.

The only reason people perceive that the majority of these crimes are committed by foriegn nationals/migrants is due to the heightened level of reporting.

The recent criticism of the RNLI was way below the belt.

Yes by all means do the analysis and share. My figures were from the Ministry of Justice, ie the official figures. I dont think the stats for foriegn nationals drills down by status eg settled status resident vs migrant applicant, so you might struggle.

The stats lie.

Unreported sexual assaults/rapes are a large number, purely because the police discourage charges and the convictions rate in court cases is horrendously low.

Because in sone countries the age of consent is as low as 13 but not in this country.. The huge number of sexual assaults coimmitted by British nationals suggests they need a copy of that leaflet too, even though they know the law.

Conviction rates are horrendously low. That in itself dissuades victims from pursuing legal justice.
