US Politics

Every US President sucks up to the irish nation. Cos 40 million votes carries a lot of sway. Places like Boston are always keen to keep warm relations with the home country.

He has just landed at Dublin airport. I hope he embarrasses our Looney Leftie Elites on the public stage. They have ignored too many elections & referenda.

More of a democrat thing.

Why their presidents tend to be cooler to us than the republican ones who usually love us (except tango man who accuses our armed forces of cowardice)

I have to tell you that?

Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom, so its people are under the British Crown.
as an irish Catholic i will agree with you. Sinn Fein are the enemy of all. They make Sadiq Khan look like a reasonable nice guy.

Putting a Palestine flag atop Belfast City Hall is really taking the p1ss

Anyhoo..............US Politics.

Trump is great , isnt he. Today's Press Conference in Dublin he blabbered on, paused, looked at the bank of Journalists & cameras and called them all 'fake news' ....direct to their face. What balls of steel.

Learn to read, and don't infer. A unite Ireland under the Crown.

Ireland couldn't even afford NI, let alone the troubles it would bring.....and under the Crown? That doesn't even make sense. To take Ireland under the Crown would require war and for what? Those days are over, Ireland is Ireland.

What's the point anyway, as Ireland, like the UK is currently being invaded and by people who want to turn 'Irish' into some meaningless 'anything'.

Maybe there will be a united Ireland a long time in the future, but all that brings now is trouble.

You've missed the whole point.

But I really can't explain it ex-rubber room.

I really doubt there was much meaning to it with Trump going on about a United Ireland. You know what he's like. He likes to whip up the crowd like he does and it's headlines for the "Irish American" voters. It also made lefties in Ireland malfunction hearing it.
I don't think there is much appetite for a United Ireland in the north or the south.

And yes you are right it's the same as the UK it's being invaded I've seen it with my own eyes.

Overall he was in the country less than 48 hours and I think it was very successful. The main thing it showed me was the discourse between the MSM and the vast majority of the public in the country who love trump.

Well the Irish may have loved it both proper and the plastics in the US, but the rest of us watched the Trump administration sell Black Hawks to the Argentinians.

Trump can go feck himself.

If this feck wants to spit in our eyes we should close down their US bases and send them home. He could always open one up in Dublin.
