Reform

At least what you say is true. In that you don’t care.

I care and so do, I believe, the majority of voters. I make no exceptions whatsoever. Any party failing to abide by the law should receive the maximum punishment available.

The idea that any billionaire, however they made their money or wherever they base themselves, can try to exert influence over our politics more than me, is offensive.

It’s done openly in the US and I do not want to see it imported here.

If I were the mainstream parties I would maximise the connection between Trump and Farage and ask if we really want that here?
What, like Sainsbury's for instance?

Non-Dom Hong Kong businessman Delo? Harborne?

China and Russia are getting awfully desperate after the Police launched their corruption investigation this week. They can clearly see their pet-project failing.

You are just embarrassing yourself now.

You don't really believe that people will vote Reform because of Russia and China?

You really need to leave your house occasionally.

When was the last time you saw Sir Ed Davey on broadcast media (BBC?) talking about his near 20% of Council votes in 2026?

Pump some serious money into the Reform machine. It's That Man Again.

Obviously Harborne (or Chakrit Sakunkrit) got worried that someone was buying a bigger stake of political influence than he was and matched that stake as he wants his stablecoin(?) to outpace Delo's or any other shady actors

This is all just diversion.

People have had enough of suicidal politics.

How anyone on the left can complain about politician donations coming with political influence when they have been funded by unions their entire existence speaks to a mockery on this issue.....like pretty much all their whining. It's always alright when they do it but they will accuse and stamp their feet when it's their opposition.

Lord David Sainsbury (yes, the supermarket family) has given tens of millions over the years, predominantly to Labour (one of the largest individual totals in the modern records, exceeding £50m across recipients).

Did you ever hear these people complaining about that? No, they couldn't give a flying feck about donations if they helped their political causes. All the left give a feck about is power and it's time the right treated them the same way....For many years I had the opposite attitude but the double standards have to end.

People like the Soros family have been financially backing NGOs, here and all over Europe.
Open Society Foundations grants in the UK have gone to civil-society groups, pro-EU/anti-Brexit campaign organisations (notably Best for Britain, which received hundreds of thousands to millions of pounds in total), think tanks, and other NGOs......All politically based donations from Soros to causes these people believe in....they don't give a feck about private money when it suits them.

What do you think year one of a Reform govt would be like? That would be suicide for every working class person in this country. Massive deregulation across banking and finance, the NHS, utilities and more? No doubt the aggressive financial and trade stance would quickly draw tariffs and sanctions from the EU and maybe even USA .

Wait until people can't afford the insulin for their diabetes or an injection for their sick dog, much less pay their gas bill. Feral animals running in the streets; gated communities for Nigel's Crypto-bro's; private police forces to maintain their estate; millions unemployed on zero welfare because AI companies are brought in to 'streamline' the hard-right, neoliberal economy. Probably a level of sectarianism on the level of Northern Ireland with paramilitary groups. Russian military bases in Yorkshire and Scotland?

A total dystopian nightmare with small boat crossings magically drying up because the migrant weapon had aciheved it's aim.

And now the scaremongering.

The playbook of the desperate.

Try doing some research into why he was convicted in the States, and yet another dodgy crypto bro pardoned by Trump.

Would almost be funny how f*cking corrupt everyone even remotely associated with Reform are if there wasn’t such serious money being pumped behind them by very dodgy characters.

If an average pleb like you thinks these guys have your best interests at heart I have nothing but pity for you.

You don't have pity for me, that's another lie.

And "Do your research" from you is unbelievable. YOU have a ton of form for demanding detailed source data and analysis when you don't like what the data say. So, supply your source or get stuffed.

Quite literally is a crime in the UK, for anyone that even slightly doubted it.

Except it isn't. Not hard to find either is it. You make us laugh Dantifa you really do 🤣

The new Financial Services and Markets Act (FSMA) cryptoasset regulatory regime will officially come into full force on October 25, 2027

Key Timeline & Dates
    • September 30, 2026: The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) application and authorisation gateway opens for firms to apply for permissions.
    • February 28, 2027: The initial application window closes.
    • October 25, 2027: The new comprehensive regulatory regime goes live, and firms must have full authorisation to operate.

“From at least September 2015, and continuing at least through the time of the Indictment in September 2020, HAYES and DELO willfully caused BitMEX to fail to establish and maintain an AML program, including a program for verifying the identify of BitMEX’s customers (or a “know your customer” or “KYC” program). As a result of its willful failure to implement AML and KYC programs, BitMEX was in effect a money laundering platform. For example, in May 2018, HAYES was notified of allegations that BitMEX was being used to launder the proceeds of a cryptocurrency hack. Neither HAYES, DELO, nor their company filed a suspicious activity report thereafter (indeed, BitMEX filed no suspicious activity reports at all between 2014 and September 2020), nor did they implement an AML or KYC program in response. Unsurprisingly, BitMEX was also a vehicle for sanctions violations: HAYES and DELO both communicated directly with BitMEX customers who self-identified as being based in Iran, an OFAC-sanctioned jurisdiction, but did nothing to implement an AML or KYC program after doing so.

HAYES and DELO failed to institute AML or KYC programs at BitMEX despite closely following U.S. regulatory developments that made clear their legal obligation to do so if BitMEX operated in the United States, which it did. Despite repeatedly stating that BitMEX did not serve U.S. customers, including to members of the press and others outside of BitMEX, HAYES and DELO both knew that BitMEX’s purported withdrawal from the U.S. market in or about September 2015 was a sham, and that purported “controls” BitMEX put in place to prevent U.S. trading were an ineffective facade that did not, in fact, prevent users from accessing or trading on BitMEX from the United States. HAYES and DELO not only understood that U.S. customers continued to trade on BitMEX, but derived substantial profits from BitMEX as a result of U.S.-based trading. HAYES and DELO actively sought out U.S. customers by using U.S.-based cryptocurrency “influencers” to market to new customers through BitMEX’s so-called “Affiliate Program.” HAYES also conducted U.S. television appearances and marketing stunts that promoted BitMEX’s products in the United States. DELO allowed a customer to continue to access a BitMEX trading account despite this customer explicitly being “US based,” merely because that customer was “famous in Bitcoin.” DELO falsely changed internal tracking information to reflect that customer’s country of residence as being other than the United States, despite knowing that to be false.”

This would also be a criminal offence in the UK.

This is very much a crime in the UK.

Another ‘free thinker’ that outsources his thinking to AI.

You should watch this South Park, it's about people like you

Season 12, Episode 12, titled "About Last Night...". It originally aired on November 5, 2008, the night immediately following the 2008 U.S. presidential election.

What Happens in the Episode
    • The "Ark" Bunker: While the town's liberals (led by Randy Marsh) go on a massive, drunken celebratory riot over Barack Obama's victory, the town's conservative voters (led by Butters' parents, Stephen and Linda Stotch) panic. Convinced that the win means the literal apocalypse and the end of the world, they lock themselves inside a makeshift backyard bunker (which they call their "ark") to survive.
    • The Resolution: At the end of the episode, the Stotches finally step out of their bunker only to realise that society did not instantly crumble and they had simply taken the election results far too seriously.

AI really does make idiots feel like they’re smart, doesn’t it.
