ipswich predictions

Will be close as Ipswich have looked ok, Encisco for them up front is the danger with Jack Clarke running out wide. The trouble for them is which 11 will we go with. This side looks totally different to the one they played 2 seasons back.

They are not the best at the back as well, if we can keep it tight in defence I can see us winning 2-1

am i right in thinking enciso may have come off with a dodgy hammy in last game and is a doubt?

Had a dream we lost 5-1, not sure if it was to Ipswich though. Sure hope my dream/nightmare is wrong but it was right last time I had one when I dreamt we won 3-0 vs bournemouth

4-1, Swindlehurst on the volley to put us 3 up before half time before they get one back and a scissor kick volley on the run from Jim Cannon to finish them off.
The day we went top of the tree. I was behind the goal at the Whitehorse end and one of the first to realize that big Jim's volley was going in. Great day but it was basically downhill after that.

7-6 win.

Six down at HT due to some sloppy goalkeeping from Mateta, but on 45 we bring on Henderson to replace him and hope JPM has learned exactly what a contract is. A hungry Khalaili scores six worldies. On 97 minutes Ben Chilwell demonstrates his versatility scoring a penalty with an overhead kick.
I'd love to see your tongue in cheek response🤔😏

I'm always cautious about being optimistic. Every time I'm certain we'll win we lose. That home game against Huddersfield still haunts me! I'm going to predict a 2 0 win but I'm going to say tough game and not an easy win.

A tough game, they will attack down their left so it will be a great test for khalalli and the right side of our defensive set up.

Enciso is someone I’d have liked us to look at, very threatening against us for both Brighton and Strasbourg.
our defensive midfield need to be organised and track him. If we nullify these two serious threats I think we should win. We have a lot of goals in us and now to see the defensive side come together. I’d be delighted with a 2-1

Sage should have worked out his best defensive combinations by now so Im expecting things to be a lot tighter at the back .
Not even sure whos available up front but whoever should be able to convert one of the many chances that will be created ,maybe two

2-0

I agree about Encisco.
He lacks consistency, can go missing from games but these are traits shared by most players of his rare talent.
He has the priceless ability to go past opponents with ease and has quality in his passing and shooting.
I would have liked him at Palace and see him as their main threat today.

Mitchell is probably our best 1 on 1 defender so I'd like him to track Encisco in those advanced inside right positions he takes; forget the goalscoring this week!

Enciso is exceedingly fleet of foot.
Has been described as the "Diamond of Paraguayan football".
Graham Potter signed him for Brighton from a club in Paraguay when Enciso was a teenager. I believe the deal amounted to £11.5 Mill.

Zian Flemming could prove a threat, a player who scored all type of goals in The Netherlands.

Indeed, if he gets the crosses
He misses a few chances, but like all good strikers that doesn't seem to deter him.
At the moment Ipswich seem to start with their other striker.
