I have been one to have a small dig at JSL but I think he has grown into this game tonight and shown that given the right balls his link up play is excellent and if we cross balls in the box he can finish. Let’s hope the fire has been lit with him now.

I am actually wondering if he is taking his captaincy role seriously. Maybe he has realised he has lost a step and needs to change his game to a more 'senior' level to keep playing. Time will tell I guess.
