Farage is trying to appeal to the middle of the road voters. By doing so he seems to be alienating his core base. Who may just just head over to restore.
It's where he naturally wants to go....it's what the suits behind the scenes want.
We all saw that before Restore he was talking about the core demands of significant deportation of anyone being.....I think the word he used was 'impossible'.
He wants the independent vote who are just turned off by our economic decline but aren't really engaged on social issues.
But since Restore attacked him from the right, he's actually been forced to address the changes that he would have to make to the legal system and establishment blockages to actually make what his voters want.....serious deportations....'possible'.
However, none of that would be possible without Restore and as soon as Restore become unimportant......which is what so many in Reform want......then Farage goes back to 'cooing' at the moderate left and centre.
And then all the difficult stuff you'd need to make changes to what actually would allow you to deport more than just a trickle.....suddenly that goes back on the shelf, because it's legally difficult and the media would start the non stop 'Look Fascism' messaging with crying people losing him all his independent support.
I'm happy to watch those that say the country can be saved by voting....but I think they say it because they have no other choice.....whereas I only have to look at primary school demographic data to see the truth and to know what's coming.
I won't bury my head in the sand to be expedient.....It's far too important. I at least want future generations of my family to know that I spoke out clearly and with no equivocation and said the truth.
In government Farage would concentrate on Thatcherite economics to attempt to win popularity via economic improvement....He will reduce the immigration numbers coming in for sure...but probably only the illegal ones. He won't seriously address the demographic timebomb that those on the real right demand and that actually leads to people like Farage never ruling again.
It's not that much different to the Tory careerism and failure that brought the country to where we are now.
The time to do all this stuff was fifty years ago.....like someone once said.
Whose career the traitorous Tories ruined because of it.....when he spoke the truth.
It wasn't he who sold out the British nation.
