Oh oh! Major blunder with substitutions which may be very costly.
Not just Palace. What was the 4th official and the referee thinking?
Likely to be a fine rather than a heavy punishment as multiple officials involved as well as Palace.
It's not like playing a player who is suspended (you can't expect the ref to know that). This was an obvious error which should have been picked up by the Ref or 4th official.
