Holmesdale Fanatics

Yup it seemed they wanted a popularity vote. As a previous poster said though, prove it’s palace they support at the game ; not all the political baggage they drag along.
Exactly this, 100%. They thought they were better than other fans, end of the day they have cost the club money, are they going to have a whip round for the fines we have paid?

Noise and singing good, flares bad, virtue signalling stuff not wanted

Yes not sure their flounce has had the desired effect.
The atmosphere in our end yesterday was brilliant as always, who needs ‘em?

IMO this has got everything to do with the legal action from Forest. The HF don’t want to end up with a huge fine to pay for defamation. The text for the legal action says it’s the Club and others or words to that effect. Once it’s sorted they will be back.Must be a great buzz and then to give it all up…..,

The aspect I will miss most about the HF were the tifos, which got more creative and sophisticated as time went on. A lot of work was put into making them including planning and preparation the day before a game in the Holmesdale Road Stand.

I was going through my old Palace memorablia the other day and saw this photo/feature in Palace's SE25 magazine (June 2006). Looked impressive. Was this when the HF were born? I hope they come back, perhaps after the libel case fails in the High Court.

I can't believe Forest chairman is planning to go after individual fans. He is pursuing the club surely.
If im correct, then the Ultras which anyway is an unofficial group (?) should have no worries surely. If football descends into individuals being fined for their views on people like the forest man, then the professional sport has a major problem and would descend into a total shambles of individual claims on a constant basis.
Maybe a lawyer on here (if there are any) could give us a more professional view of what is going on exactly and why. Im not saying im right, far from it, but i am just trying to put a bit of logic on what i see anyway as a pathetic stance from the ~Greek.
He should have known what football fans are like and the potential knock on effect some of his actions have inevitably led to. A guy of his stature should have risen above all this storm in a tea cup.

In the bigger picture I really hope the Club take care of all this and the Ultras continue as fans while promising to drop all the political stuff moving forwards. Overall they are a real asset to Crystal Palace as fans.

The claim is against the club for letting the banner in and the unknown individuals who displayed it. Its not been disclosed the £ of the claim and its not a foregone conclusion the Forest chairman will win.
Btw Im not a lawyer, my profession is best described as 'workshy'.
