Evann Guessand

Our midfield has very few goals in it. We need 20 odd goals a season from it IMHO. If Evann can chip in a few that would help. AW also needs to find his scoring boots if he wants to secure his dream move to a Sky 6 club !
True. It'll be interesting to see how Sage uses Kamada who scored a few in Germany - hopefully the high pressing game will release him more.

Yeah they coached all the skill out of zaha and moses before him!!

If they're good enough they'll make it. And some players may be good enough to take on and go past u18 and u21 players but when they come up against defenders like kylie walker when in first team then they understandibly struggle.

It's levels not coaches telling them not to use their skills and talent!!
Ever heard of sarcasm. If you thought I genuinely meant that we coach skills out of players then I’m sorry for your misinterpretation. Lighten up a bit.

More squad trouble? I've never seen anything like it. Somebody needs to take control of the players.
Clubs probably have to deal with this all the time. PL players are used to having everything their own way so don't accept any other option. Play too much/not enough, can't get a transfer, feel underpaid, club didn't buy them enough Lego for their birthday - they're never happy.

I don't think clubs deal with the amount of squad unrest we're seeing. There's been some kind of dressing room trouble, presumably for a while.

Teams have one or two players unhappy. We seem to have four or five. Some outright refusing to do anything.

You may well be right - I don't pay enough attention to other clubs to have any idea what issues they have.

Bit if hardliners treatment for these immature little c****.
Parish should call their wanker agents in and inform them that their client is in breach of his contract, refusing to do as he's told and therefore will be placed on the transfer list and not get any first team involvement.
Player power has overstretched the mark here and Parish needs to get a grip.

I imagine he’s royally pissed off having been left out of the Europa League squad.
Who can blame him? Lerma too.

Looking at our European squad list, if we’re able to leave out these two, plus Gozo, we seem to have too many players. Will be difficult to keep everyone happy.

We’re overloaded with CB’s and wingers. Guessand had a good run last season and will be trying to impress to get his career back on track. Can’t do that if he’s not playing. Might as well cancel the loan agreement.

Guessand will be probably be on the bench today, but that looks less certain next week on the basis of Sarr perhaps returning and the new players having a full week of training.

I agree with you. Both Lerma and Guessand should be in the Europa squad. Not sure Sage realises how good Lerma can be when called on as an extra centre back. And why have Guessand on lone? He’s strongest games last season in my opinion was in the conference cup ones? Perhaps there are other problems we aren’t aware of but I would of had them in the squad?

We have a minimum of 48 games this season - Only 8 of those games are in the Europa League -
2 have already passed, so we still have 38 games that he is able to play a part in - do you not think suggesting cancelling the loan is a bit over the top ?

According to the BBC teams and the way I read it club squads in Uefa competitions must have eight “locally trained” players over 21 of which four must be “club-trained”. If they do not then the 25 man squad is reduced by one player for every locally trained player missing from the eight. Palace only have Mitchell and currently Rak-Sakyi that meet the requirements so the squad is reduced to 23 if JRS stays. There will be no room for the whole squad as we sold Ozoh, Imray and Devenny. There will be squad make up can be changed after the league round of eight teams.
