I was there, I was at the side about level with the penalty spot and remember the pasty whiz past his head at a perfect head height, I can only assume it was offline. Pretty sure it past just above his shoulder.

I thought you had a point. He was s*** for Palace and a waste of money (perhaps setting a new low bar on both counts) but I never got any sense that he was taking the piss. I don't hold it against him.
As a critic of the purchases now, I have to confess that at the time I was on board with them.
Mateta looked to be gone, and would have done if he passed his medical.
We needed a centre forward and Larsen was the one we could get.
Only a few months before Newcastle had bid even more for him to replace Isac.
Looks like we overpaid now, but I can see how the situation arose.
On Johnson I think most on here would agree that we needed more pace up front as Sarr was the only forward we had who could run in behind.
It didn't work out for him or the club.
Both decisions look bad in hindsight, and taken together even worse.
By the law of averages I hope we balance it out rhis time and look like we've massively underpaid on the new signings.
