Reform

Hilarious.

A publicly owned left leaning channel purposfully tries to scam Reform and it breaks just before the Reform party conference. Labour report the details to the police.

How could this be more transparent?

They'll do anything. It's like Merkel seeing a tiny growth in the afd so she decides to try and put them down and consolidate power at the expense of long term ruination of the great nation of Germany by letting millions of third world and Islamic Jihadists pour in

Very surprised this has not been met with a chorus of the media are out to get them, all parties do this sort of stuff etc.

And they would be right. Much of the media does have an agenda against Reform. And all the parties have elements of corruption. But...

With Reform, it is like shooting fish in a barrel. They are so inept and naive. They have no skill in using corruption to achieve an aim without anyone finding out.

And before you accuse me of being an apologist for corruption, how do you think the world works and this country achieves what it does? It is not by just about anyone being able to see all the moving parts.

Reform are so obviously ill equipped for government it hurts. If voted in, they will be learning on the job. Just what a nation already in decline needs.

It's not going to be reforms fault if the main parties lose power to them. Most people don't want this level of right wing in but they're desperate because the current lot and previous lot simply don't represent them.

I'm a good example. Labour centrist really, social democratic, but nationalistic too for OUR good. I see priority on foreigners over me, so boot them out or I'll willingly vote restore or reform to do so.

I don't think we have seen the worst of it yet. These people have no scruples.

Perhaps they did have limited press passes. If you don't like the sound of the Declassified one there's plenty of others:

There is probably plenty more if you just Google them. My point is that this just the norm from political party's and not just the "Trump handbook" just look at the 1998 BBC article before Trump ever got into politics.
Worrying

Reform need to be better

That is an indication of weakness.

I had no idea Reform were so sensitive, fragile and unable to defend themselves against criticism.

However, regardless of their frailties, by cherry picking only those outlets who like them, that sets a worrying tone for the press control / censorship they will deploy once in power.

Direct, once more, from the Trump playbook. Do they have any original ideas?
Of course it's not, if anything it is an indication of strength telling the biased left wing press to do one.
The Labour cabinet refuse to appear on outlets like Talk, why aren't you complaining about that?
Any party has every right to control who attends their meetings. It's not press censorship at all, the press are still free to watch the conference on YouTube and other sources and slag off Reform - they of course will do that regards of whether they have listened to what is said or not.
None of this has anything whatsoever to do with Trump of course, why you bring him into it is bizarre.

It is not strength. Removing contrary opinions is a trope of authoritarian control. It is absolutely feeble.

As to others doing it see my post immediately preceding yours.

Contrary opinions are not being removed at all. People wanting to be at meetings merely to disrupt and report negatively are not welcome. Reform are entirely within their rights to have whoever they want at their meetings. Meanwhile their opponents are free to express whatever opinions they want, within the law - although in the current climate they could probably get away with exceeding the law.

What absolute one eyed bollocks.

The left have been trying to remove contrary opinion for years.
