Fulham Predictions

we don't need to win although it would be nice. I think we'll have a disjointed and ineffective performance culminating in a loss. But I'm not worried as I think we'll come good and finishing mid table-ish on a positive trajectory.
I called it ‘chaotic’ 🤣 but I think they’ll be the same and we’ll scrape a point

But I think it will be a long time before sage finds out what his best team is…..if he gets that long 😉

Not sure I would count a 1-6 aggregate scoreline as fine margins.
I do know what he means though, goals change games and both games we could’ve gone in front and then teams are a bit more on the back foot, especially Everton, we could’ve been two up. I know it’s all ifs and buts, if me dad was a bird he would’ve been me mum and all that🤣 but we do suffer a lot when we don’t score when we’re on top

Like a bad missionary it's the conversion rate that's the biggest problem. So whilst Sarr and JPM are sulking in sick bay, let's hope one or more of the new bloods make a name for themselves. Over the years the players' team spirit has often been highlighted as a major driver. I'm not privy to Sage's influence in the dressing room and, equally important, on a 1 to1 basis. But he is a winner not a backs to the wall type, so here's hoping they buy into him. If he can get them to gel then the outlook is exciting.

Tomorrow's result - as others have already said - could go any way. Everything points to a draw but - as nursey hasn't given me my tablets yet - I'm going for a surprise romp (ie the result, not me).

For moral reasons we do need to come away with at least a draw, as another loss, even this early in the season would be undesirable.Score 1-1

Nketiah seems a popular choice for a scorer, lets hope he does, we are gonna score one more than than you.

If my code is correct, this fixture will be only the fifth time in the PL era that teams losing their first two games meet in the next round. Palace were one of them, drawing at home courtesy of a last minute goal from Scott Dann in 2016/17
Somewhat surprisingly, none of the ten teams involved got relegated that season

I'm feeling like I would settle for 17th at the moment, if offered.

Hopefully, I will be embarrassed by this negativity when we go on to have another trophy winning season!

If the Europa League (or even a domestic trophy) was on offer coupled with 17th place, then I'm with you. If we're fruitless in every contest then I'd be in the 'miffed' category (there's a petition to resurrect the Main Stand Miffed in case anyone missed it).

We’re in transition stage thanks to late dealings in the window.

Only new signing I expect to see in the starting line up tomorrow is Disasi.

I’ll be happy with a draw - get our first points on the board.

Then I think we’ll build momentum from there.

We've done well at Fulham recently. Far better than at home. As long as their three signings from Real Madrid forget where they came from, we should manage a point. 1-1

We do seem to have the sign over Fulham of late; second only to our record over Villa maybe.

Yet I'm worried that we're going to lose tomorrow, for some reason.

2-1 Fulham.

Please, please let me be wrong.
