Fulham Predictions

Both us and Fulham go into this game needing a result. We’ve both had poor starts losing our opening two games. We’ve won there last time out but that was a different time and a different team as evidenced by Guehi getting the winner.

We still look like a team where we don’t really know who our best eleven are or have a clear identity under Sage yet. Given we are missing our main two goal threats in Sarr and JPM and still have questions in defence it’s difficult to see anything other than a Fulham win.

Fulham 2 Palace 0

Their manager is already moaning, including about their transfer window. Will that moaning have a positive effect on the Real Madrid B team? Time will tell.

I'm going to be positive and put us down for a 1-2 win. I'm not sure where those two goals are going to come from, but I think the final-day madness of the transfer window will have brought some positive energy in and taken some of the focus away from Sarr and JP. Imagine if Osario turns out to be the next Messi and Sarr can't get back into the team. That would be hilarious (if improbable).

Could go either way. Both teams need to win but I think Fulham will edge it as they are just slightly ahead of us in regards a settled team and players scoring goals.

Key for palace is the defence. Maybe Disasi comes in and we look a lot more solid. Hope he has an aerial threat in an attacking sense as well.

Also, this kid Osario might hit the ground running…. Let’s hope so!!!!

If Sage persist with the Glasner formation I predict a loss; however if, now the transfer window is done and dusted, he goes ahead and introduces some fresh blood into the side I think we can get a positive result.
He may not start them but I would very much like to see Osorio and Timber on the pitch.

I expect a line up very similar to the one that started against City. The only change will be Disasi for either Tomiyasu or Canvot and Richards shifting to the right of the back three.

The deadline day signings won’t have had enough time to integrate yet. I expect to see them on the bench though, probably at the expense of Lerma and Gozo

2-1 Palace. There will be signs that we are starting to click.

Diasi will come in as the central CB with Richard and Canvot back to their original sides.

In both games we've made some chances and started well. We'll expose Joa's lack of pace and play some nice football. JSL and Nketiah for us. Both assisted by Khalaili.

They will get one back from a corner late.

Osorio will make his debut and look lively.

All will be good again

Lots of rumours he's off to Besiktas before their window closes tonight . . .

If he goes, I wish him well but like Munoz, slightly off the pace last year. He was good for us and I liked his attitude.

Both team need points and I think both will at the end of the day probably be happy with a point.

I think Nketiah might start up top ahead of JSL with Disasi to start at the back.

... Saying this though... I'd be even happier if we get a win by any means possible. Getting 3 points for a new manager is key just to build belief - Fulham will also be thinking the same.

Slight change of topic just read on the Palace website that there are no District Line trains between Edgware Road and Wimbledon via Putney Bridge.
Best alternative is Waterloo/Clapham Junction to Putney on SWR trains.

Fine margins in the first 2 games of the season had we scored first might have been different.
I am hoping that the team have got the rust out of there system and I m looking for a 2 - 1 win to the Eagles.

1-1
First point of the season, late equaliser from JSL to kick-start a run of consecutive braces from him, culminating in a double hat-trick against the turncoat's Notts Forrrrrest leading to his untimely demise.

we don't need to win although it would be nice. I think we'll have a disjointed and ineffective performance culminating in a loss. But I'm not worried as I think we'll come good and finishing mid table-ish on a positive trajectory.
