Hi everyone,
I wanted to ask whether anyone knows if the club are still letting rugsacks into the ground for evening games, as I will not have enough time to drop off the bag at home after work on Tuesday? I know the A4 bag policy has been in force for a while, but in reality it was fine to bring in bags for evening kick offs last season.

If the bag rules are strictly enforced, for those who used the bag drop facility, does it ever get too full to the point where they do not accept any more bags?

Thank you, and apologies if this board is the wrong place to post it.

When I get frisked on the way into the ground I routinely ask the steward if they consider me a potential terrorist or football hooligan. In any event the body search is so fleeting I could quite easily smuggle a hand grenade or cosh into the ground!

I thought so too, but they published a message before the start of the season saying that due to new legislation they have to reinforce it.
The stadium guide on the website still says you can bring a bag that fits under your seat. If that’s changed it’s a problem for those of us who travel a long way.

I thought they’d changed their minds about the A4 bag policy early on last season.

they did. My other half said it was a law that they wanted to pass in parliment but it didn't get voted through. The policy they wanted changed at wembley between the fa cup final and community shield and that's why there were long queues for the later.

Saying that though, each club can set their own policies hence why i'm taking a smaller bag tomorrow to fulham than i do to selhurst park.
