'Those in the know'.

Wisbech's version of blue anon operating from their basements.

I guess his lawyers and editors have taken the day off.
There are some who have back channels to people working in the White House. People who would instantly be fired if they ever went public. This isn’t made up conspiracy theory. Much of it is in plain sight for those capable of seeing.

It isn’t

LOL no kidding.

It was simply a joke, intended to highlight your one-sided nature when it comes to viewing the world.

Biden was FAR worse mentally and physically than Trump,
yet there is a 0% chance you ever commented on on it.

But I think it's pretty cool you know "those in the know".
Too bad you didn't know any of those types when Biden was in office!

PS Not a Trump supporter 😉

I commented on it at the time but in a much more nuanced way than some of the numpties here, I was firmly of the opinion he ought not stand again and criticised the delay in him making that decision.

He wasn't though worse than Trump! Biden suffered from mobility issues and was never an orator but what he did much, much better than Trump was choose quality people to work around him and delegate responsibilty to them. Trump only listens to himself and when he only says crazy things that's a disaster. He is surrounded by incompetent, unqualified sycophants who just say yes, for to say no means they get thrown off the gravy train. Trump is now obviously seriously unwell. Which on top of all his other failings is a major disaster for the USA, and the rest of the world.

Bringing up their leadership styles has nothing to do with their health.
Which was the original topic.

You are right about Trump and the shortcomings of his personality.
He's always been that way, and most likely always will be.
Terrible at delegation, and he needs to stop with the social media posting.
(I don't take many of his outlandish statements seriously, he's simply "anchoring" in negotiation.)
And Lord knows Trump views the world as one big negotiation, many times to his own detriment.
Let's be honest, he's pretty much a NY a******.

But your original post was about his health.

Like him or not, Trump does NOT show the same physical and cognitive decline that Biden did.
Biden might not have been an orator, but in his last few years as President he was unable to string together coherent sentences. He moved around like a man with Parkinson's. (Google Dr Tom Pitts)
(I know, I know ... you'll simply say he was never diagnosed as such... but he sure looks like he has it ... my father in law has Parkinson's, is around the same age, and they looked like twins in their physical manner)

The administration put "quality" people around him because they HAD to.

My guess is your internet algorithms didn't show you Biden's worse every day moments, but they are there if you actually want to find them.

In my opinion, there should be a limit on how old somebody should be if they run for President.
The United States (and the world) deserve politicians who are younger with more energy and cognitive abilities...

I had the honor of studying under a political scientist named Max Lerner. He always said that you can't judge a President until they have been out of office for 50 years. I'll be dead then, so I won't know how history treats Trump. My guess is he's not going to viewed as a good President, and probably as a pretty bad one. But none of know for sure today. NONE OF US.

Hope your day is full of love, family and laughter. Because that's way more important than this crap.

And because I want to fact-check myself, I typed "Does Trump show the same physical and cognitive decline as Biden?" into AI. Here's what came back:

No, Donald Trump does not exhibit the same physical and cognitive patterns as Joe Biden, though both have faced intense public scrutiny regarding their age and fitness. While critics and some medical professionals have raised questions about both men, the observed behaviors and official medical conclusions for each are distinct.

Physical Indicators
  • Joe Biden: Public observations frequently focused on physical signs often associated with rigid aging or parkinsonism, such as a stiff gait, reduced arm swing, a soft or monotone voice (hypophonia), and a frail appearance.
  • Donald Trump: In contrast, Trump's physical scrutiny has focused on different factors, such as weight, stamina (such as appearing to fall asleep in meetings), and visible bruising on his hands (which he and his physicians attributed to aspirin use combined with frequent handshaking). Official White House medical reports from his annual physicals—including his mid-2026 exam—consistently state that he exhibits "robust" cardiac, pulmonary, and general physical function.

Cognitive Scrutiny and Medical Data
  • Joe Biden: Concerns regarding Biden peaked around his verbal pauses, word-finding difficulties, and slower processing during unscripted public appearances, leading to widespread public debate about his mental stamina before he exited the 2024 presidential race.
  • Donald Trump: Critics of Trump point to a different set of linguistic behaviors, such as tangential speech patterns, rambling digressions, and occasionally confusing names or current events (such as substituting names like Nikki Haley and Nancy Pelosi)

Divergent Professional Opinions
The medical assessments and expert commentaries for both men vary significantly:
  • Official Examinations: Trump's White House physicians have repeatedly stated that his neurological examinations reveal "no abnormalities". According to memos released by the White House, Trump has consistently scored a perfect 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), a standard screening tool used to rule out early signs of dementia.
  • Outside Medical Warnings: Conversely, a faction of outside mental health professionals and neurologists—who have not examined Trump personally—submitted a letter to the congressional record warning of what they termed a "marked deterioration in cognitive functioning," citing his public behavioral patterns and impaired impulse control. Other independent neurologists have countered that his public verbal slips are typical of aging and do not necessarily represent clinical cognitive impairment.

I agree about there being age limits but not about the comparative health of Biden and Trump. Biden was still thinking clearly and taking sensible decisions, even if his physical health was in obvious decline. Trump isn’t. His physical health is being disguised whilst his thinking has never been good and has got seriously dangerous.

Biden seemed to have dementia or similar for the last while of his presidency. I felt sorry for him for quite a while. The situation didn't seem great - and wasn't that really proven later by the democrats admitting to that themselves? They withdrew him from the Presidential campaign - but it has been well documented since. As I say, from people like Harris and Clinton etc. Not any Trump stuff. The democrats have spoken about this.
Now, not dementia but cognitive decline. I was just suggesting it seemed like dementia. I think he has some kind of diagnosis now. Can't remember. I wish him the best.

I don’t know which AI you used but I asked Chat GPT “Is Donald Trump’s physical and mental health now better or worse than Joe Biden’s was in the final months of his Presidency” and got this answer, which is significantly more nuanced than the one you provided:-

“If by “now” you mean September 2026, and by Biden you mean the last few months of his presidency (roughly autumn 2024–January 2025), my assessment would be:

Trump appears physically somewhat better than Biden was then, but the difference is less clear-cut than the political rhetoric suggests. Mentally/cognitively, Trump currently looks better on the available objective medical evidence — but there are enough recent observations to make that conclusion less secure than it was a year ago.

Physical health

Trump has the advantage.

At his May 2026 Walter Reed examination, Trump’s physician reported strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological and general physical function. His weight was 238 lb at 6’3” (BMI 29.7), and his cholesterol had improved with medication. He does, however, have chronic venous insufficiency, causing some leg swelling, and doctors advised weight loss and more exercise.

Biden’s February 2024 examination, while officially described as showing him fit for duty, documented atrial fibrillation, sleep apnoea requiring CPAP, sensory peripheral neuropathy, spinal arthritis and a stiff gait. By the latter part of 2024 he also visibly had considerable difficulty walking and appeared physically frailer.

So, on conventional physical-health measures, I’d put present-day Trump ahead of late-presidency Biden.

There is one important caveat: Biden’s subsequent diagnosis of aggressive prostate cancer with bone metastases was announced only after he left office in 2025. We shouldn’t retrospectively assume that this was necessarily affecting his functioning in late 2024, because we don’t know when it became clinically significant.

Cognitive/mental health

This is more interesting.

Trump’s formal medical evidence is substantially better than Biden’s was near the end of his presidency. Trump’s 2026 examination included a neurological examination and cognitive screening, with a reported 30/30 MoCA score and normal mental status. His 2025 examination had produced the same 30/30 result.

Biden, by contrast, never had a publicly reported formal cognitive test. His doctors repeatedly said that his neurological examinations were reassuring and that he was fit for duty. But the concern wasn’t based simply on a lack of testing: his public performances in 2024 showed conspicuous problems with word retrieval, losing his train of thought, confusion and occasionally apparent disorientation. These became sufficiently serious that Biden abandoned his re-election campaign in July 2024.

But there’s an important qualification concerning Trump.

A 30/30 MoCA does not establish that someone has excellent executive functioning or is generally cognitively superior. It is a screening test for cognitive impairment, not an IQ test and not a comprehensive assessment of the ability to make complex decisions. Specialists have specifically cautioned against treating it as proof of presidential fitness.

And in August 2026, there have been increasingly noticeable reports of Trump appearing to fall asleep during public events, alongside verbal slips and apparent memory lapses. Those observations don’t establish dementia or another diagnosis, but they do make it harder to say confidently that his cognition is unquestionably excellent.

My overall judgement

If I had to make a straight comparison, rather than hiding behind “we can’t know”:

Trump now
Biden late 2024
Physical robustnessBetterWorse
Mobility/staminaBetterWorse
Cardiovascular healthProbably betterMore medical problems
Formal cognitive testingMuch better evidenceNo formal test disclosed
Observable cognitive performanceBetter overall, but increasingly concerningClearly concerning
Evidence of dementiaNone establishedNone established
Overall fitness for demanding presidential dutiesProbably betterProbably wors

So I would say Trump is currently in better physical and cognitive condition than Biden appeared to be during the final months of Biden’s presidency.

However, I wouldn’t say Trump is currently in “excellent mental health” with the same confidence that the White House physician does. At 80, his increasing episodes of apparent sleepiness and verbal/cognitive errors deserve attention, particularly because the standard MoCA test is not capable of ruling out every form of age-related cognitive decline.

And there’s an important irony here: the gap between them may be considerably smaller today than it was during the 2024 campaign. Trump’s age-related changes are now becoming much more visible, whereas Biden’s decline had already become quite pronounced by mid-to-late 2024.”

My own view being this relies far too much on the data provided by the White House, which under Trump has become an unapologetic propaganda machine. It cannot be trusted. I prefer to use the evidence of my own eyes.

I don’t know which AI you used but I asked Chat GPT “Is Donald Trump’s physical and mental health now better or worse than Joe Biden’s was in the final months of his Presidency” and got this answer, which is significantly more nuanced than the one you provided:-
I asked AI about Wisbech Eagle's physical and mental health and it said: Overall, physical and mental health in Wisbech are supported through integrated local healthcare services, proactive mental health interventions, and community-based organizations that provide guidance, practical help, and early engagement programs to maintain overall wellbeing.
I pointed out to AI that Wisbech Eagle is (as far as we know) a person and it replied: "Wisbech Eagle" is a historical pub name in Wisbech and not the name of any individual or person.
I further informed AI that Wisbech Eagle is allegedly a fan of Crystal Palace FC and it answered with:
Although the idea of a "Wisbech Eagle" being a Crystal Palace fan cannot be confirmed, in a figurative or symbolic sense, any eagle representing the club—like Phoenix or Kayla—can be considered a "supporter" due to their official mascot duties and ties to Crystal Palace’s identity. There is no verified link between the specific term "Wisbech Eagle" and actual fandom.

So engaging with AI on this important question was a bit like engaging with Wisbelch himself.

Could you just not say Trump is a bit crazy sometimes and leave it there?

Is the presidential car going to ground itself again?

Or like another world leader, could Trump be laid prone in his fancy Airforce One chair off his t1ts on meds while the progressive Irish left stand in the whazzing rain on the tarmac?
