Palace Summer 2026 transfers?

So there are rumours that we may get the Camara deal now Chelsea have pulled out at around £39mill. Then rumours of Ordenez if we can negotiate a lower fee but would still be an initial loan to buy so say that’s £20mill plus a young spainish forward named Janneh from a Swiss top division side for around £10 mill. That would see us spend £79 mill on top of what we’ve already spent and solve a few key areas. Would you take that by 2300 tomorrow?

You make a good point. If Newcastle and Villa can’t prevent being asset stripped then what chance do Palace have

Honestly...there are too many rumours and ifs buts and maybes. If we can get a CB and a decent CM and either keep or replace Sarr, we'll be in a good place. The problem is at the moment were at least 2 short and if we lose Sarr as well, in trouble.

Squad looks bigger to me but far less balanced and without Sarr we look like we won’t score anywhere enough goals and having decimated our previous back 3 we will concede goals. Seems to be a really strange feel about the place. Not sure if this is why OG wanted out or as a result of him going! Strange times.

We must have been 2 short last year as well. We have so far sold/released 6 and bought/loaned 6 first team players. Not necessarily upgrades on who went but there we are, same squad size as May. It would be good to get in some fresh faces but I assume other first team squad members need to make way e.g. Devenny, Esse, JRS, JPM and/or Sarr. I am assuming Sarr will only go if they get a decent replacement prospect. The others I will be happy to recycle fir something new.
 
If there's any consolation to our current situation let it be that of the six money boys two of them have spent hundreds of millions to finish no higher than 5th & 6th. If that. And in Tottenham's case almost certainly not that.

Centre back is a must. But then it’s been a must the last two windows and we’ve failed to address it.

It's difficult to get a handle on but I have seen a few articles suggesting that in all three cases the turnover of players is attributable to the change from FFP to SCR, and/or being in Europe, where more stringent financial regulations apply. It might be that what we are seeing is the result of things that are a bit unique to this particular summer, and that in future we might be able to sell at a more controlled rate, though overall I've found it very hard to get a clear picture on the subject.

CM is more important. By far.

We have brought in Disasi, plus Tomiyasu and Mingueza can do a job there.

CM on the other hand...we only have Wharton who is top 6 PL class.
