I’m not sure there’s many people out there who thought we were really capable of going to the next level. Except those who are off with the fairies living in cloud cuckoo land of course🤣 It was probably as good as it was going to get for us with our ground and turnover or lack of turnover I should say

I actually thought our window was going ok, we were adding depth, got rid of Johnson, and looked like we were getting some extra funds by shifting on fringe players. At this point last week we were about to sign a talented young defender (Ordonez) and I thought we just needed to add a quality box to box midfielder and I'd have been fairly pleased.

Since then the 'invalidly contracted' Mateta has done his hamstring, Sarr has gone from lovable winger to whinging stroppy t***, Ordonez we realised was crocked, we've sold Munoz to our new arch enemies and we've lost another game. Oh ye and the Ultras have gone. Pretty shitty week.

Hoping for a miracle tomorrow tbh.

Got far more than I ever expected and grateful. I can understand why they want to capitalise, but with out oligaric FFP and decent owners.... who knows.

He employs other people to do the actual football side of things. It's the likes of Freedman and Hodgson and Glasner, and the coaches and players who deserve the plaudits when times are good.

You're imply that any lack of success is purely down to Parish and anyone else at the club deserve the plaudits, when times are good.

We're absolutely terrible when it comes to navigating transfer windows, one of, if not the poorest. On the flip side, we're really really good at player recruitment.

Its easy to say but brighton or brentford, fans of Everton, west ham and Tottenham would use our club as an example.

As long as we stay up and get through the league phase of the Europa league then I'll be more than happy.

Not at all. I presume Parish has his advisors when it comes to employing senior management staff, as surely not all staff can be his personal choice. If it is any other way I'm happy to understand how it works. The time spent in the EPL, the balance sheet, the new stand proposals, all have Parish's signature on them, which is obviously a good thing. I would say success and failure is a collective thing.

Some maybe, but I think there’s a lot of realistic views in general on here from people who’ve seen it all before. Some of us have had several false dawns going back to the late 70’s early 80’s and know what to expect and the last couple of years is probably as good as it could possibly get
