Is it the hardest draw? We avoided Milan, Juve, and Bayer Leverkusen.

Those are the only three I actually fear to any degree in the competition.

We had a 100% chance of avoiding them, as teams from the same country can't meet at this stage.

Yeah, I guess we would sweat if we got an English club in the latter stages. The mental side is the worst.

That’s a decent shout I think. We were thinking that if the away games proved too difficult to access we may think about a corporate night on one of the home games. Probably same sort of cost but hopefully wake up in my own bed ( maybe!).

Only approximately one hour from Munich Station (Hauptbanhof). Watch out for bikes on the pavement they’re as bad as London.

Yes. I was assuming we were both in the knockouts. Bournemouth are 4th favourite, Palace 7th at site I am looking at

Sorry, it is from Munich Hbf.

The train from the airport to the main station takes about 50 minutes.

However, I have had a number of holidays near Salzburg in summer/autumn, and would always go via Munich (but mainly by hire car).

It’s an alternative suggestion you may consider.
