Glasner to Forest

Why when all he projects, as with an increasing majority in football, is himself and how much money he can make.

He has done everything to look only after no1 during both his tenure,(which Parish may well have forced him into after his attempts to get himself fired) and after when his hopes for a “big” job were quickly swapped for a job with “big” money.

Personally I really don’t like the guy and it will not bother me one jot if his demise at Forest is quick albeit profitable as the fat bloke scatters money around like confetti.
We do not know the extent to which "Money" is a factor in the decisions taken by Glasner apropos future employment.
With regard to his comments about being "Abandoned", it is pure speculation to assert that this was an attempt to trigger the removal of his services.
I suspect he did yearn for a "Big job" but when these avenues were denied he was within his right to seek employment at a less prestigious club and of course remaining in the PL was probably an attraction.

I accept there is antipathy towards Glasner, I for one sit on the opposite sign of that coin.

I think Glasner will find the Forest role difficult if he persists with his formation, unless he can players to suit his system.
At Forest he's got players like Hudson Adoi, Hutchinson, McAtee, Ndoye who are neither number 10s nor wing backs.
What does he do with them?
I would also argue that Gibbs White would not suit a disciplined, rigid number 10 role as he's a free spirit liking to wander in the atracking third.
It's also a moot point how the two competent centre backs he inherited will adapt to a back 3 and how they will.work with the new centre back they have bought in presumably as the third centre back.
As a minimum, I think it could be some time before Glasner's vaunted organisational skills will come to the fore.

It's not speculation though is it - he actually said he didn't care if he was sacked the week after the Sunderland outburst.
He had a hissy fit and knew that if the club didn't like it he had cast iron pay off terms (reportedly £5m).

As for moving to Forest i have no strong view - he can go where he wants once he's left us. Clearly the financial package must have been a consideration, as it is for everyone when they accept a new job.

Apropos his comments you have highlighted, it is feasible this was a response to a question put to him by the media and that his outburst was not a calculated move to trigger his dismissal but was borne out of frustration.
With regard to "Pay off terms", I am not privy to that information.
My word, it seems that on HOL I am Glasner's 'Defence Barrister' !

Be fair Monkey - there are some young gits as well.
fair point 🤣

I googled the word git just out of interest and to be honest it’s only the senile bit I haven’t reached yet……the wife might say different though

Git /ɡɪt/ is a term of insult denoting an unpleasant, silly, incompetent, annoying, senile, elderly, or childish person.

I recall travelling to Sheff Wed many years ago to watch our team play when Alan Smith was manager.
We suffered an abject 4-1 defeat, supporters were in a 'Hissy Fit' and one disgruntled devotee referred to another as an "Old git". His response was that a "Git" was a pregnant camel and he had the hump !! 🤣
I have not verified whether this is a fact or fiction !

After the game I travelled back on the tram using a 'Day Rider' ticket to meet my dear wife who spent the afternoon in the 'Meadowhall' Shopping Centre. She took a look at me and commented that my face was a picture of misery.

when i have no info regarding a topic i tend not to comment.

I'm not defending or criticising Glasner but pointing out info in the public domain.

Perhaps you are now his 'defence barrister' as you keep posting on a subject that by your own admission you have limited info on

I like others am not privy to all the 'Jot and tittle' of contractual information with regards to Oliver Glasner but of course I am fully aware of certain general information and the views of supporters on HOL with regard to our erstwhile manager and I comment accordingly.
