Tobe honest think the Scottish premium is on par with the championship at the moment , but europa this year is harder than last year Europa , big clubs , 2 of the biggest from Italy this year
 
With big names coming to Selhurst and all the gate receipts going to the home club (Uefa) we can expect to pay premium prices this year. According to one report we will be in pot 2/3 and could draw Bayer Leverkusen, Juventus, AC Milan, Alkmaar or Marinakis’s Olympiakos from pot1. Of those demoted last night Celtic would be a great away trip but and Hapoel one to avoid. More goodies in the sweet shop tonight with many well known clubs stuck on draws, Olympic Lyonnaise (Textor’s old side) being a standout. More fun on Thursday with Benfica my choice as there is plenty of room in the Estadio Da Luz for the Palace hoards.

I wouldn’t mind AC Milan with the San Siro soon to be knocked down for a new smaller stadium.

Why would Hapoel be one to avoid? Aren't Israeli clubs playing their games in other countries? Isn't one of the games tonight being played in Hungary? Or am I missing something?

The computer decides - who knows what criteria UEFA put into the Algorithm
Here's the basics from Google AI

36 clubs enter the league phase.

Teams split into four pots of nine based on their five-year UEFA club coefficient rankings.

Pot 1 contains the highest-ranked clubs.

A team is drawn manually by hand from a pot.

Automated software instantly selects eight random opponents (two from each pot) for that club.

The computer also decides which of those eight matches are played at home and which are away.

The software ensures strict rules are met: clubs cannot play teams from their own association, and can face a maximum of two teams from any single other country.
 
For those Palace fans like me, for whom Celtic away is the dream draw, we would like the following 3 ties to go our way tomorrow over 2 legs.

Red Star Belgrade to beat Victoria Plzen (likely)
Mjallby to beat Red Bull Salzburg (dodgy)
Trabzonspor to beat Ferencvaros (also dodgy)

These results would put us into pot 2 with Celtic and Bournemouth, and would give us a 2 in 7 chance of playing Celtic.

If 2 of these go our way, Bournemouth stay in pot 3, so there are more possible opponents.

If no more than 1 go our way, the most likely scenario, then we stay in pot 3.

Other matches may affect the pots, but unlikely results are required.

If we do stay in pot 3, then one of the more likely ties for us is an early reunion for Oscar Mingueza with his former teammates at Celta Vigo.
