For more than a thousand years, the two great institutions in the Land were The Church and The Pub. We had pubs where Vikings used to sit & drink. RiP. Today we have people knacker-drinking on every Park-bench. Often also smoking weed and passing comment on every teenage girl walking by.

But never mind about american tourists being unable to find a good bar. Cos they are gone too.

Its hypocrisy to have Irish Pubs in Croydon, Tokyo & San Francisco. Especially when the Alma Mater has already gone down the Swanny.
