Everton vs. Crystal Palace match thread

If he dosent change the formation and try some thing different, it will be disappointing. to say the least.

You're forgetting second half of last season. We were like this - exactly like this. Players running through us like a curry through a dog and conceding from any wide free kick or corner. Plus, wasting all of our own easy chances. We did usually play well for the last five minutes when behind. That's about it. There's a lack of effort, frankly. I'd prefer more blood and guts. We've got none of that.
 
Bad impression of Glasner. Also, a Manager under 65 that hasn’t had a big impact on the game previously has no right being that fat. How can these players take this fraud seriously?

He’ll be gone by Christmas. A shame to waste another 3 months of season yet again but obviously we won’t get rid today.
 
I know this is a ridiculous statement, but we could play all the players in their correct places and see what is the best formation and tactics, sorry i will get my coat.

Jeez, bit harsh, it’s his first competitive game. Glasner’s results were pretty shocking when he first arrived.

I’m usually all for giving a Manager time. Some just have that look of loser or give me that vibe. He has all through pre-season and today he is just copying exactly the game plan last season and hiding behind Glasner. Wrong man at the wrong time for me.

I felt the same and said it. No idea why. Just doesn't look or feel right for us.
 
As expected the defence simply isn’t up to it at this level. Unless that is addressed it is going to be a long season. Everton haven’t had to be good we’ve just gone to sleep twice and been punished.

Sorry to say but in the games he’s played Riad looks short of pace, physicality and positional sense at this level so far

Looks like a poor version of Glas Ball.

When I saw the lineup I knew this guy has no clue.

Riad is not Prem quality and a game like this needed muscle in midfield Wharton/Kamada are lightweight.

Canvot needs to play left side all his best performances have been on that side unless he is also dropped and we play Richards/Disasi/Tomi

He's injured and I'm thinking it might be helpful if he's out for a while. Which is shameful of me.
