That’s a pretty weak starting line up isn’t it? That defence is a worry and the forward line looks pretty weak as well. Realistically none of that front three are probably first choice

Sarr has been great but if he wants out he can f*** off. Worked out well for Wilf and looking great foe Eze. Club is bigger than any player. Why in gods name anybody would want to go and play in turkey is beyond me
Looks like didn’t want to play..!! Is this what the Nije interest is all about..?? 🤷‍♂️

As others have said our bench options look much better than last year but our starting eleven looks quite a bit weaker. Hopefully I am wrong but I think we may need to buckle up for a challenging opening few games

Annoying thing is that we rejuvenated his career when we took him from Marseille where he wasn’t getting a kick. Now he treats us like this - very disrespectful to the club and us as fans..!!

Interesting that our depth is so much better (pre-injuries) with Sarr(maybe temporarily), Gozo, Devenney, Doucoure, Franca and, presumably, an incoming CB all missing the match-day squad

That defence was being lauded by many fans on this site as being enough with the addition of the perennially injured Tomiyasu and the part timers Mingueza and Lerma. Yes we have Disasi now on loan but I’m with you that the starting back 3 is largely untested and potentially a weakness. We have never replaced Guehi and Disasi is a slower version of Lacroix.

A lot depends on how Sage sets them up and where they hold their line. I won’t be overly critical until I see 90 minutes however as Riad and Richards both had solid World Cups.

Apparently it’s €60M - Galatasaray and Sarr trying to force the move..!! 🤷‍♂️
