The agent for Khalaili said that Palace have had a long standing interest in Khalaili and were in contact with him back in January.
Presumably this was a with a view to succession planning which seems prudent.
When Khalaili’s move to Italy broke down it looks as if we stepped in to buy him and I wonder if this will in turn hasten the departure of Munoz.
I doubt we would be pushing Munoz out of the door if Khalaili had gone to Italy instead.
Munoz has been great for us and one of my favourites in recent seasons for his sheer passion , commitment and attacking instinct.
I don’t see why Spurs would want him as they have Spain’s World Cup winning right back, but I suppose they may want to replace Spence in the squad.
We seem to be better prepared for the possible departure of Munoz than for Lacroix, although maybe we thought we had centre back Matsima in the bag until the deal fell through.

If I speak to any of my friends that support other clubs it's Munoz they are most envious of. The only CPFC player I've seen any of them put in their Fantasy Football teams as well.

Losing Munoz will be hard to except for lots of Palace fans, but if Parish decides to sell him to Forest after everything that has gone on and with the impeding court case with Marinakis , i just hope he is ready for the backlash there will be from the Palace support. We should not be doing any business with that club and its owner 🤬

The general perception is that Munoz did not have as good a season as the previous one when he won a double Player of the Year award.
Nonetheless, he still scored 5 goals and got 7 assists from 46 appearances.
That's still a very good record and I will be delighted if Khalaili can achieve similar.
