Do they really think the public are stupid? Medal ceremonies postponed, buses cancelled, armed police everywhere…why? According to the authorities because a 30 yo male was arrested on suspicion of…..FRAUD! at 11pm. Ive heard of overkill but come on this was far more serious than that

Probably based in England. Although I haven't looked into it. They usually are. There are minimal facilities here.
A bedrock of the peace process is the ability to choose nationality. I heard before that lottery funding does go abroad but obviously Northern Ireland isn't abroad and likely play the lotto too. Probably twice - like their dole, if they're near enough to the border.

No idea. As I said, lottery funding goes abroad, or at least via NGOs which use it abroad. Which is probably news to some people.
Irish athletes often have scholarships from British institutions. I doubt that goes much the other way round as there just aren't the facilities or expertise here.
This confused me too, when I heard she won gold at the Commonwealth Games. Seems she flits between the 2, bit bizarre
