He’s going then..!!
Huh - you seriously suggesting this is strategic planning - do me a favour..!!
The weaknesses are there and clear to see..!!
It’s usual Parish - does it every window - so slow with Business and it costs us every season.
Just never learns.

TBH - I get selling Munoz - he’s 29 with 2 years left on his contract - if we can get decent money for him then fair enough - now is the time to cash in.The opposition played good flowing forward passing creative football.
Munoz I think has played his last game in Palace top - will he sit out of Everton game I’m thinking yes will be agreement
Hughes was very involved tackling passing point of view - guess he’s no the mouth of Selhurst again

I don’t think Munoz will be the last outgoing - obviously JRS and Esse are going.TBH - I get selling Munoz - he’s 29 with 2 years left on his contract - if we can get decent money for him then fair enough - now is the time to cash in.
Don’t see him going to Everton - why - they’re the same level as us.
Think you’ll find he’ll go somewhere in Europe.
Suggest that’s what the Khalaïli signing is all about - and he’s much younger and looks decent. If that’s the case good business.
But now Steve you’ll have money from Lacroix and Munoz - start doing the do and get in
2 quality CB’s - Le Guen and Matsima..?? Personally I’d go Bisseck and Le Guen.
Then a CDM Kees Smit (Keith Smith)..!!
We’ll have the money just do it Steve..!!

It looks like it given the signings this summer but it's a big risk - especially if he is sold to a close rival. As proven by his WC showing, he is still up there with the best in the world. Last season, he was our most creative player, bar Wharton, whom he outscoresTBH - I get selling Munoz - he’s 29 with 2 years left on his contract - if we can get decent money for him then fair enough - now is the time to cash in.

Mate what are you going on about it’s not a matter of “if” - we need at least one quality CB in.If we don't get a quality CB in, it seems like there is a good case for starting Tomiyasu, given his experience. He's likely to break down in training anyways, so might as well get some use out of him before that happens
Possibly turns out lucky that our first two games are ones we would be pegged to lose. Having Hull at home would have brought back memories of Huddersfield, 2017

Even if Sarge doesn’t want Strand Larsen I can’t see the Club selling him at a big loss although it probably makes sense. His first touch and physicality is awful. God that January window was terrible. Unbelievable almost…I don’t think Munoz will be the last outgoing - obviously JRS and Esse are going.
I wouldn’t rule out us cutting our losses on Strand Larsen - Sage unlike Glasner likes a more fluid and mobile front line.
We’ve got Mateta who is far more mobile and physical than Strand Larsen - that in mind don’t see where Strand Larsen fits in.
Mind you we ain’t going to get £47M - be lucky to get half that.
Time will tell.

What’s happening Friday?Brentford have just beaten Frankfurt 7-0 in a friendly, we can’t even score one!! We look so open at the back, worried about Friday.

Huge week for Parish - he’s got to simply start doing the do, can’t put it off any longer..!!Based on today there is a huge amount of work to do. The disjointed pre-season with key players not present obviously hasn't help but there's barely a resemblance of any clear patterns of play or coordinated pressing. There were times when we attempted to press but were so far off the pace that Freiburg could make a couple of passes and bypass our entire attack and midfield. That's a concern whoever is playing.
We desperately need some quality in the spine of the team. Lacroix's pace and leadership must be replaced and we desperately need more energy and guile in midfield.
I struggle to see how JSL is going to do anything for us, he's the weakest 'big lad' I've ever seen. Nothing sticks up top and then it's hard to get anyone else involved.
A huge week on the training pitch and it was interesting to hear Sage say that we will return to more familiar ideas that the players are used to.
