Sadly, it doesn't work that way since:

• player moves from PL to PL = level price
• player moves from Championship to PL = big premium
• player moves from PL to Championship = big discount.

if we want £20m for Devenny we have to sell to another PL club

We've also proved that Deveney isn't really up to playing a big part in a Prem team. If he wants games, its likely that the only way is down.

With Charles, nobody knows if he'll be able to make the step up, Fulham are willing to pay the price to see if he can.
