More covid

If it was just the Covid jab stopping the op then you have a point. If he was lacking everything else needed before hand then it’s one of a number of reasons he didn’t get it done. Cherry picking this to support a death is more a sociopathic chase on your part don’t you think.

Looks like you'll have to admit I have a point then.

Garnet Harper was refused a referral to the London Health Sciences Centre's transplant program for a single specific reason: his COVID-19 vaccination status.

You haven’t really done anything but repeat the article. Was he prepped in Every possible way. This article like you, focus on just not having the jab. If he was prepped he would no doubt have been in hospital. And the article would state at which point he was at. It doesn’t state anything about that.
That’s all I’m asking for the full MO.

What in the name of all things humane, is stopping this operation. My answer would be evil.

I've not looked into this story one bit. Only what I've read on here. So if there is more information then fair enough. However if it is just down to him not being up to date with his vaccines that the operation was cancelled then my first paragraph stands.

Jesus wept.

Weren't you earlier in the thread moaning that sensible debate required participants to admit when others had a valid point?
Well, you've literally just been proven 100% wrong. So man up, admit it, and practice what you preach.

You can research it anywhere - he was refused the transplants solely for his Covid vaccination status.

The ever so caring medical professions that people clapped and bashed their pots and pans for.

Don't take an experimental medical procedure and suffer the consequences.

Someone once quoted that after experiencing the covid times, he could see how the people of Germany got behind Hitler and what followed.

If anyone supports what happened to him, for refusing to be vaccinated then they are psychopaths.

What goes around comes around my friends.
I have come late to this story, having never heard it before. What an unnecessary tragedy for his wife and children. Was he such an obsessed anti vaxer that he preferred to die rather than compromise? The hospitals and clinicians involved must have been very distressed to at such stupidity. They would have willingly compromised themselves, given the opportunity, of that I feel quite sure. So there must be some regulatory or insurance reasons that stopped them.

"Regulatory or insurance reasons"

I couldn't myself consider to be called a man after that comment.

You would just do the fffingg operation man, and fkk the regulations

I'm so glad you don't have my back.

No you wouldn’t if you were struck off and lost your licence to practice! Or your hospital got closed.

You would think of the many who would suffer because of you helping just one. One who had a very straightforward answer in their own hands.

Taking difficult life or death decisions is the burden carried by many clinicians every day.

Perhaps the truth is that it’s you who aren’t man enough to cope with such responsibility.

How terrible being struck off and saving the life of a man with 5 children - a decision that would have costed no other lives.

You and me disagree on everything, that's fine. No problem.

But here you are and many others showing an absolute disappearance of humanity, that makes me think of you and others with utter contempt - and that's the polite version.

Do you think they told him all the way along that if he had the jab he could have the op. He chose not to have it.
Five seconds of a needle in his arm and he could be alive.
What would you have done ?

Possibly a real man would have said, go f#@k yourself. Not that you'd understand.

Eh? They effectively sentenced him to death for asserting his constitutional rights to bodily autonomy and informed consent.

And your excuse for them is that they probably told him well in advance? Like that would have made it OK?

"Regulatory or insurance reasons" - I can only hear that line in a disingenuous Heinrich Himmler voice, like "the detainees will be transferred forthwith to the camp for regulatory and insurance reasons"

This is from Science direct.com

Whether a COVID-19 vaccination is required before organ transplant surgery in the USA depends entirely on the specific hospital or transplant center. There is no universal national mandate, and individual center policies vary widely. [1]

In cases where vaccination is required exceptions can be made on religious grounds.

The takeaway is that there is no medical necessity to have the jab before an organ transplant.

And even if such a rule is in place, exemptions can be made.

This wasn't an isolated incident. There were manifold examples of cruelty and victimisation from that period.

Apparently so. It seems vaccination is recommended since transplant patients are more susceptible to infection after surgery but isn't essential.

Well, the covid jab lowers immunity to a range of unrelated infections - but let's not go there.

The other aspect of this case is that he would have been covered by his health insurance in the US, which was presumably up to date and paid for (since no one used this as an excuse not to treat him).

So they effectively conned him out of his insurance money as well.

New illegal settlement tender in West Bank deepens Israeli efforts to sever Palestinian ties to Jerusalem, officials warn." (BBC website)

And not only does the world do nothing,...some countries, including the USA and UK , also supply arms and arms components to Israel, as well as supplying military intelligence.

And if you protest in the UK, you are a terrorist sympathiser, whilst your Government facilitates genocide.
