Outbidding a local family for a property in the mining village where their families have lived for generations. Then renting it out at a fat profit, while sitting around on your arse preaching socialist values?

As selfish as loading the next generation with hundreds of billions of debt, seeing thousands of businesses close down and children's education suffering.
I still don't understand the criticism of those questioning a decision taken six years ago. It's a different experience being confined to a large house in the country to being stuck in a small flat in a city.

Taking such decisions was never a lightly considered matter. It’s necessary though to sometimes have to make a choice between two awful options and decide which is worse.

You didn’t have to do that. All you have to do is theorise and pontificate about it.

I can totally understand the decision taken. If the worst case scenario threatened the total collapse of society there was no way that could have been risked, whatever the other costs involved. Making sure there were future generations coming before any need to consider their economic futures.

Why do I criticise those questioning the decision? Because, when we have set up a comprehensive enquiry, with access to all the data and reports from every genuine expert, it’s dumb for amateurs to question things they are not equipped to question.

We must wait. Just be patient.

It's a common theme - the Covidiots have somehow convinced themselves that only they have a right to voice an opinion on this subject, because their suffering was greater or something.

You would think that, after getting it demonstrably wrong time and time again, they would STFU out of sheer embarrassment, maybe even apologise. But No.

I think it goes hand in hand with the totalitarian mindset. The same people who gleefully wanted to force medical interventions on others and wanted them to be forcefully confined to their homes now want to stop everyone else from even discussing it.
But we see them. We see who they really are.
