Makes me laugh, they go all the way to Italy for some crap tournament in a near empty ground, then a decent London derby back home they play behind close doors!! Not that I’d go, but a friendly at home against Fulham would sell a few thousand tickets to the die hards who do like going to friendlies

I suspect the issues are the work at the ground and the expenses in putting a match with a crowd on. Policing, security etc.

Probably a snip though compared to everyone travelling off to Italy for however long they were out there, but it’s possible selhurst might not be safe outside yet with the work starting

Actually I’ll be on the Lincolnshire coast by then for a music festival, but hopefully ticket permitting I’ll be at craven cottage when the proper stuff starts

Were mainly going for The Dualers who are from our neck of the woods and this will be the 13th time we’ve seen them live, but it’s a weekend away as well
