I know we haven't got many other options at this stage but it's interesting to see Sage use a full back in his back three again (Sosa today, it seems).

When Chelsea won the league playing 343 Conte used Azpilicueta, who was very much a classic full back and not especially big, on the right of the back three, with Luiz and Cahill alongside. Add in a hard working winger (Moses) at right wing back and an attack minded left back (Alonso) playing left wingback and, it seemed to me, a system designed to be able to morph into a back four as and when needed.

Thing is, they never did. He just played a full back in the back three all year.

Perhaps that's on the cards for us?

What if Sosa is absolutely f***ing brilliant in a back three? How great would that be?! Ten different problems solved all at once*
