Let's be honest, they were going to do something much worse than simply burglarising the property. Of course the media makes no mention of this. It doesn't seem like the typical burglary, does it? To smash your way into a home while being totally aware the occupants are wide awake suggests something far more sinister than just a burglary.

I only read the story this morning. I have a very busy life at the moment. There’s little to say. The police have a suspect but why they suspect him is unknown. You would hope it’s because facial recognition cameras have matched him but it could also be that he was on their radar as a potential perpetrator of this kind of attrocity. We don’t know, so until we do there’s only speculation.

That though doesn’t mean that the importance of finding ways to counter those who commit these crimes in the name of extreme beliefs is in any way diminished. The radicalisation of anyone to carry out acts of violence because of a belief system, whatever it might be, is something that must be fought with determination. What we must though avoid in the process is making things worse through the alienation of whole communities. It’s not easy to find the right balance.

What a ridiculous comment! The only truth it conveys is the complete prejudice of the writer.

No political party supports women even having surgery to remove their breasts unless there is a medical reason for it.

Surgery as part of gender affirmation is in a completely different category. Not that anyone suffering from right wing prejudice is going to realise that.

Maybe I have just announced a new condition. One significantly more grounded in reality than things like TDS! Yes, RWP is a psychosis found in those with the inability to see the wisdom of progressive politics.
