Interested to know what you consider hate speech. Where do you set the bar?

Usually with the left it's anything you don't like.

No one is against something anymore.....the left decided to hyperbole everything.

You can't dislike something.....Everything gets turned up to 11.

Everything is about hate for them.

Hate this, hate that.....it's always sounded like projection to me as there are so many mentally fecked up people on the left. They hate more than anybody.

Speech is just speech......The bar for hate should be reserved for the most serious cases where someone is out to harm in some fashion......As in hating something.

If someone p1sses you off and you state that.....it's not hate.....but the left don't have a second gear only a fifth.

Unless it's them saying something and then suddenly it's reasonable.

I expect some will disagree with me but when people talk about hate speech they often mean a crime. This of course was all Tony Blair's doing.

The Trans idiot who celebrated Widdecombe's death has now been arrested. I don't agree with that. He/she/it is a disgusting individual but in my book celebrating the death of someone you dislike does not rise to the level of a criminal offence.

His employers may sack him for bringing them into disrepute but that is a separate matter.

We need to roll back on these so called hate crimes. They're horrible people in this world but free speech simply means that. The law should only be involved when it rise to the level of advocating violence.

What has happened over the last few years? The riots following the terrible murders in Southport which started based on an inaccurate social media post regarding the killer.

Then the immigration hotel incidents. Some of this was again inflamed by inaccurate social media posts.

Clearly the police are trying to avoid a repeat.

Comparing this with say the Jo Cox murder is just unfair. The killer Thomas Mair was shouting 'Britain First' as he killed and was arrested almost immediately. With his identify known his flat/house was searched and police discovered extensive neo-Nazi literature, white supremacist memorabilia, and research on assassins and public shootings in his home. Therefore his identity as a 'right wing nutjob' was known from minute 1.

In this case it appears the bloke was a lone wolf with mental health issues. It took the police about 3 days to identify him and I think the police are still trying to understand the motive, hence the requests not to speculate etc.

There is zero evidence that most of the people out there were there based on inaccurate information.

Those are media and state claims and most people were out there due to anger.....and they were right to be angry because the murderer hated them and their white children.

The state actually put out information to give the impression that this guy was just your regular British guy, no information that he was born of immigrants.....they knew exactly what they were doing.

So when we talk about inaccuracy that has to include deliberate misdirection by the state.

Yet contrast how the state acted when we had BLM riots here over the death of an African American in the states. On that they allowed the protesters to get away with practically everything even during covid lockdown, even though they injured Police, civilians and horses and caused lots of damage.

Why? Does it matter what/ or not they were shouting, they are both scumbags, who imo deserve to be strung up. If it was not political what was it? A random burglary ( which Starmer tried to make out)? How many random burglars drive 300 miles, armed with a hammer? Oh and the victim happened to be a right wing politician with outspoken views and the perpetrator was a left wing nut job. Not rocket science is it.
