Trepidation for the 26/27 Prem season ?

No, count me in too. Until the season starts it's a Schrodinger situation, but I see no reason why we can't do well. How many recent years have we gone into a season with doubts about the management, squad depth, squad quality etc and yet here we are. Still in the Prem, three trophies to our name.

Is some element of it the 'Palace Paradox', my fond term of us being utterly unpredictable? Probably. But there's also no obvious reason to EXPECT a bad season.

The spine of our team is strong.

Even if Lacroix goes our CBs are strong. And we've signed someone who can play there.

Kamada has signed and no noise about Wharton currently. Top clubs have bought their midfielders now...?

JP might still go, but JSL will do well. And Nketiah is currently fit.

Suspect there will be 1 or 2 out, and a couple in, but squad looks pretty healthy.

If we didn't we'd all become glory hunters. The reason we're all so peculiar...sorry, I mean grounded...is because Palace always do this to us. We don't get ideas ahead of our station, it's commendable.

The important thing is not the players it is the manager, Larsen, Pino and Johnson are all proven players, its the job of Sage to get the best pieces to fit the puzzle, i am in know doubt we have the players if the manager is flexible enough to play the style that suits the players, then we will do well, if he doesn't we wont

I can't vouch for it as I've never used it but on paper it sounds promising. If anyone here has had international membership they might be able to chime in as to whether it really is as good as it sounds. I hope so though, good luck.

On the bbc's Ipswich page, they had a Q&A, one of the Q's was which 3 teams would be worse than them, Fulham, Palace, Forest & Leeds were the teams they thought would be worse than them & 3 of those would be relegated.

They certainly should be looking at Stones as he is a free agent. Stones is still a great player.

I don’t know how much Lacroix will go for.

I remember announcing on here once when we were on a shocker of a run that I couldn’t see where the next win was coming from and we were doomed…….we then went on to win five on the trot 🤣

It’s how we roll, good enough to beat Liverpool 3 times this season but bad enough to lose to a non league team🤣

Living in France I used to be an International Member but last season and this I have paid to be a Gold Member, as it puts you one step higher up the pecking order for cup final tickets and the like.
