Well quite. But hey-ho. If I was him, I would now go for it full-tilt. Has nothing to lose and those closest to him clearly believe his side of the story. Interesting to see that the other man accused was found innocent.

Apart from McGregor running for President, we also have a Pablo Escobar type running for election. 'The Monk' Hutch. A total monster.....and very likely to get the protest vote.

The DPS decided there wasn't a case so the woman was forced to do it via a civil case. In fairness, there was a large hullabaloo at the time. I was in Dublin and cops were swarming the place. Everyone knew straight away that it was Conor McGergor but there was a gagging order immediately.
 
McGregor seemingly had a knicker-fit in the witness box. He Totally lost the plot and shouted aggressively at the Court. He let the mask slip, while being tried for being an aggressive violent feck. duh !

Its a pity the old HOL-thread 'dislikeable feckers' is no longer up and running. But if i recall correctly, i believe he already had got a mention.

MMA & boxing record ? considering he has lost more fights than he won......with the exception of the cocaine-woman, and the whisky auld fella in the pub, that he battered.

Rough sex is not a very good defence these days. So unless you can actually prove that the victim really had a thing for it (how do you do that?) jury's will take a dim view of that as an excuse.

Apparently she had lots of bruises so again unless you can prove that she had a medical condition which meant she bruised with the slightest touch I think most jurors will assume you are a pig and guilty.
