Fair enough mate. You must be right and all of nketiahs previous managers must be wrong.
Not always.

Really only one manager that's relevant to this discussion isn't it? And obviously I'm no expert but nobody in the game is infallible either and I'm certainly not the only fan you'll find who might disagree with their club's former or current manager on one or more things.Fair enough mate. Further to that point - end of FA Cup Year, he had a spell where he was getting enough time to show himself, and he was actually delivering in those performances. It also happened to be, no coincidence, the first good spell of fitness in quite a while. The latter does tend to help the former.Really only one manager that's relevant to this discussion isn't it? How about Tony Mahoney? 🤣and Mike Elwiss, not Andy McCulloch though 😊

I recall him scoring at Selhurst Park in the 80s.How about Tony Mahoney? 🤣
He was Baloney,How about Tony Mahoney? 🤣
Johnson may not have scored , he played I think 3 games in munoz position , and as someone who has played in that position he done well , so dont just judge by his goal scoring ,Further to that point - end of FA Cup Year, he had a spell where he was getting enough time to show himself, and he was actually delivering in those performances. Following season (season just gone), he was outcast. So, it is reasonable to suggest that wasn't really aligned with his performance in the run up. Can you really say he wouldn't have done better than Johnson who was allowed much more of a shot (due to price tag) and did absolutely nothing.
I'm not the only person to point it out.

Glasner might lure Johnson to his 'spiritual home', he was popular at the club and hails from West Bridgford !Johnson may not have scored , he played I think 3 games in munoz position , and as someone who has played in that position he done well , so dont just judge by his goal scoring ,
there is a big difference between them two in style,s of play also when was the last time nketiah scored double figures , he has only scored 14 goals total were in top tier johnson has 21 with his last season at spurs being his best , and thats without championship goals for forest , I have more faith in johnson getting it right than nketiah
England
if the first happens, the second is an almost forgone conclusion, given our history with ex-players.Glasner might lure Johnson to his 'spiritual home', he was popular at the club and hails from West Bridgford !
Imagine the scenario - Johnson returns to Selhurst Park with Glasner and scores the winner for Nottm Forest !!!!
England
The same era as Tommy Langley, Chris Jones and ‘Old Neddy’ himself (Trevor Aylott). What a load of s*** strikers we had back in the early ‘80s 😳.How about Tony Mahoney? 🤣

I’ll drive him up there myself.Glasner might lure Johnson to his 'spiritual home', he was popular at the club and hails from West Bridgford !

Tommy Langley had a great name for a footballer. Straight out of the 1950's.The same era as Tommy Langley, Chris Jones and ‘Old Neddy’ himself (Trevor Aylott). What a load of s*** strikers we had back in the early ‘80s 😳.
Langley, Jones, Aylott and Mahoney all used to work very hard while achieving precisely nothing. The same era as Tommy Langley, Chris Jones and ‘Old Neddy’ himself (Trevor Aylott). What a load of s*** strikers we had back in the early ‘80s 😳.

I believe he did get one or two 🤣 although I’m struggling to remember any of themI recall him scoring at Selhurst Park in the 80s.

I recall seeing Andy McCulloch 'Plough his furrow' for Cardiff at Ninian Park in the early 70s, when Jimmy Scoular was the 'Bluebirds' manager. I was present at the game but cannot recall their opponents.I’ll raise you Tony Brown and Andy McCulloch🤣

I think he scored a lot of goals for Sheff Wednesday if I remember right, so I wasn’t that gutted we signed him, but clearly his best days were behind him when he pulled on a palace shirtI recall seeing Andy McCulloch 'Plough his furrow' for Cardiff at Ninian Park in the early 70s, when Jimmy Scoular was the 'Bluebirds' manager. His stay with us was somewhat ephemeral.

Yep. That seems about right. To sum up the previous few posts: we've had some s*** 💩💩💩 journeymen up front over the years. Most didn't last very long and were replaced by similar crap for undisclosed fees.
