I am shocked at the Brazilian side, simply not good enough England should beat them easily, I now think England will win the World Cup, 1966 and in 2026 so 2086? 😉

His goal record needs looking at if he is being heralded as Englands greatest world cup goalscorer . Its a bit unfair on the guys who came before him who played (a) fewer games and (b) against better quality opposition .
He won the golden boot in Russia (2018) with 2 goals against Tunisia a hat-trick against Panama that included 2 penalties and another penalty against Colombia . So actually just three goals in open play against weak opposition .When we play anyone decent he goes missing .

In Qatar he got one goal v Senegal and a pen against France . Sorry but banging in 4 goals aganst San Marino and hatricks against Albania doesn't make him Englands greatest ever goalscorer , not in my book anyway .
Add to that that his style of play slows down our attacks and I would be questioning his automatic selection especially when Tuchel's style is fast counter attacking . There seems a clash there that the manager seems unable to resolve going into the business end of the competition .
 
A couple of people even on here had noticed what was wrong with England. Can hardly blame Congo for noticing. However, Tuchel should have sorted this but hasn't. I don't have a good feeling about this. It's not looking likely is it.
