Climate change not such a drama for some

a bit of nice warm weather and all the doom-monger nutters come out of the woodwork.

Its refreshing and amusing. Just how predictable and stupid the Lefty enemy often are. Does anybody remember the climate brigade predicting that by 2002 all of the UK would be under twenty feet of seawater ?

Tend to agree, only our front porch is full of seawater so far.

There are two days a year, every year, where I cut Greta some slack and think "yeah, this is a bit much". Tomorrow I will be back to thinking she's a knob.
 
Psychologists are looking at people lying to themselves and reinforcing a narrative that flies in the face of facts,experience and virtually every human means of sense, this week as people fry in extraordinary record temperatures the no such thing as climate change nutters say "It ain't warm" and other such inanities , psychologists are in awe of the human facility to blinker themselves to the bleedin' obvious. Vienna is thought of as a reasonably cold City today approaching the end of June it will be 39 degrees and the self deceiving lunatics prefer to fry and die and not see the evidence around them, the opposite of science. 😎 😎 😎 They will be cranking up the central heating tonight.😆

The "no such thing as climate change" comment is a red herring and straw man comment.

Everyone knows the climate changes. How much of it is man made is the question.

Scientists failed miserably with their hockey stick graph where they missed out the medieval warm period.

Scientists predictions on climate change are an absolute joke and always have been

Climate Change is natural there is data to show evidence of this.

Has humans contributed to the speed up yes but at what level something we do not know because they used made up epidemiology models to suit whoever agenda.

What is happening is a shift.

I remember a very long time ago I was told in school we only had 10 years left of fossil fuels because we have drained most of it already (this was 60 years ago)

Next was the ice caps would have fully melted by 2000 and half of England would be under water.

When it comes to this subject it's best to not pay any attention to so called "climate scientists"

Why some will say they are suppose to be the experts it's a simple answer those people like 99% of scientists not only in this discipline are funded by powerful people so if these people want something to go in a direction you go in that direction otherwise you no longer have a job plus they will do whatever they can to destroy your credibility (The other thing is bogus science floods the literature so if there is something of merits you cant ever find it)

I can tell you this as someone who has lived it knowing full well how the systems work.

the rich and powerful are backing the deniars not those saying it's mainly man made, I didn't get the jab, am an ardent conspiracy theorist, understand there was a credibility crisis in 2012/13 where it was proved that 90% of formal scientific experiments were non-repeatable, conclusions were appeasing the funders not truth, but you can't pump billions and billions of tons of toxic crap into the atmosphere continuously for 150 years and not expect a bit of comeback, nature is self regulating the awful species that is humanity out of existence. But don't listen to me, listen to Donald Trump.

Incredible how many don't seem to get this.

Much like the tobacco industry in the past, oil & gas have spent absolutely fortunes to deny and distort the truth, and continue to do so.

Of course there are chancers profiting on the green movement, but there is huge money to be made in maintaining the status quo.
