The Burnham scrutiny thread

Talking of polls, on the IPSOS poll, 67% of 18-35 year olds don't want a Monarchy
55+ aged people surveyed are 74% for the Monarchy
It is only a matter of time until this nepotism of the highest order is abolished.
Selling the Royal Family to the Americans, might be a nice little earner and landing them with the Palace repair bill, this is all coming together!

Very understandable, I think a few on here are not inclined to consider democracy and Parliament they are more Kristelnacht and boot boy types.
I agree they have not accepted Brexit. So those on here with differing political views to yours are nazis/facists? That sort of comment is a typical leftie reply

Stupid = not noticing a question mark. So for the less intelligent of us, please explain your comment

So you base your views on what Putin says?

I and an extrapolation of the opinion polls think Burnham will win the next election, your forte really is the football pages. 😉
Based upon what ?

At the time of writing, there are only hints and speculation of what a Burnham Manifesto would look like.

If this Labour Government were/are doing so well in power, why have they forced their Prime Minister into resigning ?

I watched a series of Labour MP's on tv criticising Starmer for his lack of communication skills and the fact that '' change isn't coming fast enough ''. All the time ignoring the facts that although Starmer's quite an unlikeable personality, it's the policies that people don't like, and '' change '' won't happen quickly if the PM is forced into U-turns .

I said on here before that we may come to look back upon the Starmer years, all 2 of them, with fond nostalgia. Because Burnham is about as flaky and trustworthy as Farage.

Only a moronic idiot would give a view on a Burnham premiership when he has not revealed any policies, not just a bunch of words.

The Manchester success story is not surprisingly not mentioning all the taxpayer money it costs.

Running a city and spending other people's money is not a model for governing a country where the money has to be obtained through taxation. Council taxes do not pay for all local services.
