Lacroix

I reckon it'll be around 40 mill
Absolutely no way then. I see no reason why he shouldn't be among the top fees of the transfer window. I believe his stats have him amongst the top in the Premier League.
Let's not get mugged off on any of our good talent anymore.
For a central defender, he's also just about hitting his prime.
Starting point for me is 75 mil.

180k a week is the same at Chelsea, The same as anywhere, if you are in it for the money, he would probably get a 6 year contract.
Chelsea don't pay massive wages now. They have a strict policy.

Everyone assumes that the storys are correct , that is what's called a successful click bait , they all come out with the same storys but all they do is change the players names , we are successful cup winning team , so that will of course make click bait easy to sell , just wait and see how true the storys are after the world cup

Absolutely agree here. I commented on another thread that I get so annoyed when rumours start to circulate and CP players are quoted by the media-circus at much lower than players at, say, Brighton. Gets under my skin. Current example, is his name Van Heck? Last year of contract and €50m +. Guehi? €20m and it was made out that City weere being generous!!! Apart from that, SP should tell them where to go!

If he's desperate to go, he'll go. My hunch is that he's happy at Palace and he'll stay. He has a great relationship with the fans and is a key player for us. Incoming French manager could help too. Offer him an improved contract and the captaincy.

If he is to go, it needs to happen early and we can demand top dollar for him - £60m minimum.

Trevor Chalobah + £30m seems a good deal.

Due to the big signings of Strand Larrson and Johnson, at least one big player will go this summer.

Hopefully Johnson and or Nketiah !

Defenders tend not to attract as bigger offers as forwards. Eze and Olise were around the 60mill mark. 40-50mill would enable us to get two replacements. Not saying I like it but if he goes that's what I'd expect.

I agree. Especially given another European season. With the fist pumping, he's got a pretty special relationship with the fans.

As much as I dont want him to go, if he does, we've shown that (in this formation at least) its realtively easy to bed new guys in. Both Canvot and Riad have looked good when called upon, as was Trev early this season. And then Richards cone straight in and performed.

Even Lerma and Clyne have been able to do a job when needed. In part will be down to individuals, but its also a pretty defensive and protective formation.

Spurs have just paid £52mil for Van Hecke, with1 year left on his contract. He's the same age as Max.

Their stats are pretty similar

Anything less than £60 mil and we've been robbed. Don't get me started on Liverpool's pursuit of Guehi!

Max has got to be worth 70-80 easily, if we let him go for anything less we need to be asking some serious questions, hes our best defender, a leader and passionate, can't see him asking to go, but who knows whats going on behind the scenes.

And I have little confidence in our current DoF given recent purchases.

Which less than average players is he going to recommend next?
If LaCroix does go, obviously preying he doesn’t, I could quite easily see us ending up with one of these expensive Chelsea cast offs

What!, James is on 200k a week, Re-signed 3 months ago, with a 70k increase, what do you think Lacroix thinks looking at that list

Elliot Anderson defensive midfield going to City for £130m, as Forest dont want to sell, but cant turn that sort of money.
Is Lacroix any different in ability?
