He's our key centre back and our only one truly comfortable playing in the middle of a back 3, assuming we retain this system.
I believe the interest from Chelsea is genuine as it's being reported by a number of sources.
He plays every game for us, is remarkably consistent and rarely makes a mistake.
For me he's the glue rhat makes our defence work.
I'm unaware of a release clause and I think he has 3 years left on his contract.
