Only the Crispin guy on FB is giving any coverage, and he has gone from daily updates to saying he will do one at the end of the trial.

So some protesters from Southampton have already been jailed, less than a week from the protests. How many pro-Palestinian have been jailed within a week.? In fact how many have been jailed? Nothing to see here…. Wissie 2026.

I’m not going there. If the guy chose a jury trial he would get off but again circuit briefs advising to go guilty. This hmg is totally out of control. The Manchester scum got away with it I would say the jury make up could have assisted with this particular verdict.

Agree that was a mental sentence - the traffic cone didn't even hit anyone.

But I am not sure the constant comparisons to Palestine protesters helps anyone - except the elites who love to see the ordinary folk argue amongst themselves.
Palestine protesters have their own examples of ridiculous police heavy-handedness and sentencing, perhaps not as ridiculous as the traffic cone, but still over the top. They are not a particularly favoured group, despite what several on here claim.
A better example would have been the BLM protesters, who were very much treated with kid gloves.

Threw a traffic cone ?

The kid in the link below threw a black bin-bag at the riot police, among other misdemeanors. Sentenced to Seven and a half years jail, half-suspended by the kind Judge Nolan.

TWO TIER all the way.
Protest violently against the left and you are in jail - by the way I do not agree with violence at all.
Assault the Police and it takes years and likely you get off.
The Tories were bad but this lot are vile and corrupt.
 
Nobody serious believes modern crime statistics.

It's just manipulated.

Any Police force can effect crime figures using many techniques, both by changing the definitions for different categories of crimes to how they actually Police the streets.

For example on the latter.

A Police force that is pro-active, and say carries out 'stop and search' is going to find more people breaking the law on carrying weapons...it will reduce the crime rate. Compare that to a Police force that isn't pro-active on stop and search and has a higher bar for stopping people.

The pro-active stop and search increases the number of crime arrests and thus actually reduces crimes....for example stabbings. It's just a fact that if you had a Police force that stopped and search the most likely offending groups for whatever category of crime you would reduce actual crime.....but this became politicised as demographics changed.

A passive Police force that only responds to reported crime (or doesn't even bother much in some cases) and has different attitudes to the difficulty of crimes.....as Iceland's CEO mentioned the other day is going to provide a declined service to that of the past.

That's happened, people have grown skeptical of Police effectiveness and the situation where people don't even report crime now is a reality given to us by our elites.....themselves a degraded bunch.

The more people lose trust in the Police and/or don't bother reporting crimes and the less pro-active the Police are in looking for crime and stopping actual real crimes then the more fake crime stats will be.

On the one hand you are correct. On the other, a tsunami of crime & litter in Luton Town is very difficult to hide.
