Saw some of the footage from the Leicester game last night, where Eduoard made his debut.

Pretty much the same old Edouard. The commentator wasn't positive about his performance either.

This was against Walsall as well l.

He was replaced in the 69th min by . . . Ayew. TBF, none of the Leicester team fared well & it took 3 saves from Ward in the penalty shootout for them to go through. Cooper got some right stick tho . . . 😀

I had the whole game on in the background. He was godawful, lazy and wasted the couple of chances he had. Didn't we extend his contract just so he would have some value next summer? Could be a bad move

I think it is more the standard of the league with Edouard, he is the laziest, unskilled, doughnut i have seen, even Benteke had one good season.

He wasn't abject. He is a striker who gets on the end of crosses. He was expected to hold the ball up in a 3-4-2-1, when it just doesn't suit him. Like Nketiah, he needs to play alongside a front man like Strand Larsen.
It really depends on Sage's preferred formation.
