With some paper talk of Edouard coming back it got me thinking who would be in our laziest ever eleven.

So far we’ve got Edouard and Benteke up front. Brolin as a number ten and Ruddock at the back. Any more?

Agree with Benteke. Watched him in isolation one game and he would do the bare minimum closing down the opposition. Just enough that he thought the fans wouldn’t notice. And we paid him £100k a week to watch him do that.A fraud who could easily have been arrested for loitering.

Kevin Miller
Gary Stebbing
Jordan Mutch
Tom Soares
Tommy Black
Andy McCulloch
Mike Flanagan
Steve Ketteridge
Steve Wicks
Tommy Langley
Brian Bason

...can't be arsed to put them in a formation.. but then agaon neither can they...
The one I had highest hopes for was Tommy Black
He had a proper purple patch where he was scoring every week
His colleague at the time, Julian Gray, was lazier if I remember rightly.

Probably a separate thread but what's preferable - a striker who can but won't or one who tries but can't?
Rather one than tries at least.

* If they ain't up to the job, the blame lies with whoever put them up for it.

* If they just don't bother doing the job, that's fully on them. It's also disrespectful towards us.
