Clearly a busy weekend for Steve Parish.
Hopefully a happy weekend for Mark Bright who has reached the age of 64 today !
Happy Birthday Mark. 👍
That does make me feel old.
I remember talking to him at a training session surely after he joined us from Leicester as a lean and hungry 24 year old.
I think the fee was around £80,000 which was a lot in those days for us.
Coppell had in mind to partner Bright with Wright and I can't recall a better striker partnership at Palace.

I am of a certain vintage !
I was nearing my 34th birthday when Mark Bright signed for the club and we had many a chinwag after games in the hospitality facility at the ground.

No, Certainly not Flanagan and Allen, Walsh and Swindlehurst probably next best after W&B.

Probably got one when they knew the incumbent was leaving. We've only had since October.
They're probably well underway building a new stadium, preventing scalpers buying home tickets and putting shares in a blind trust too. If they get their membership packs out to young football fans before Christmas we might start to look comparatively tin pot.

They might even check emails. Who knows what wondrous levels they go to in order to run a club?
We can only look on in admiration and awe.
