Arse in the Arthur Wait

I was in a neutral area in Leipzig Stadium mainly occupied by Palace but with a fair few Rayo fans and everyone got on fine. However some neutrals caused problems getting drunk and smoking despite the kids sitting in front. One told me he was Albanian living in Switzerland before his mate poured beer over my canvas shoes and down the back of a Palace fan. Genuine fans tend to mix well because of a common interest in the game just as in other sports.

If you haven’t had to go in the home ends to watch Palace you ain’t lived , I’ve done Forest , Charlton standing , Bury standing , QPR standing , Arsenal in the seats , Norwich standing , Just off the top of my head , Charlton and Arsenal were rather eventful lol .
If they behaved can’t see it being a problem ..
We ended up in the old Chelsea shed in 1982, back when Chelsea away was a pretty scary place. We won the game as well and we did a brilliant job holding it back and keeping our mouths shut. But just as we thought we’d got away with it at the final whistle a bloke walked passed us, stared at us and shouted ‘eaaaaagles’ at us……..we were all obviously very young and still nimble on our toes, so we got out of there as quick as we possibly could 🤣
