Is he?
He conceded 5 yesterday.
only a personal -4 goal difference for that match then!In the first half too. He did score one back though.

I still can't believe we didn't go for him as he is shining in a mediocre West Ham team and was a snip at £15 million. Too late now but as with Semenyo we missed out, again
I doubt we were prepared to offer a 7 year contract at £90k a week like W Ham have, he would be 34 years old at the end. Yes. He’s much better defensively, better with the ball and his end product has improved a lot so I’d say that is better as well. Whether he’s worth a 7 year contract at £90k pw in a position that isn’t a weakness for us is a different questionI doubt we were prepared to offer a 7 year contract at £90k a week like W Ham have, he would be 34 years old at the end. Is he better than Munoz?

The bbc gossip page says B'mouth would be willing to sell Semenyo in the summer. We may have tried to sign both or neither of them. Who knows.
With Semenyo when he went to B'mouth we did have Olise, Eze and Wilf at the time so the club maybe thought they were all better than him.
I dont believe that for a moment. The bbc gossip page says B'mouth would be willing to sell Semenyo in the summer.

Nor do I, but, it was on the bbc, so it must be true . . . 😎I dont believe that for a moment.

Not on those wages and contract length he wouldn't.He was outstanding against Arsenal and continues to earn good reviews despite West Ham's poor form.
Stand by my claim that he would have been a good investment at £15 million

£90k a week is hardly excessive for a player of his quality - it's what we pay Nketiah...Not on those wages and contract length he wouldn't.
And he is a better RB than Munoz, but not a better RWB.
Munoz fits the system perfectly.

He couldn't hold down a regular place in a rubbish West Ham team and has a ridiculous contract. A rare great sale by Palace: let's not spoil it
Agreeing with other posters that £8-10m is an absolute bargain to get former Palace starlet back into the fold again.

Both Mitchell & Wan Bissaka played under Hodgson in the early parts of their first team careers, probably explains why neither are comfortable going forward, admittedly Mitchell has improved under Glasner. If we go to 4 at the back under the next coach and Munoz gets the move he's been angling for every international break, he'd be the perfect equivalent to Mitchell on the other side. Both great tacklers and struggle going forward
