My sons arrive first in the morning at Düsseldorf and then we will off in the car to car to Leipzig. I am so nervous today that I can hardly think straight. Much more so than last year 17th May, which I assume has something to do with the low expectations against Man. City. We just HAVE to win!!

Setting off about 0415 tomorrow morning. Definitely more nervous than FA cup final. I guess it must be because of higher expectations. I also think it is because it will certainly be a "once in a lifetime" event for me. Plus, chance to spend quality time with my son who has been assigned responsible adult status by my wife.

Relax everyone, we should be ok as I will be wearing exactly the same clothes as for the cup final and charity shield!

Anyone else doing superstitious stuff like that?

The likes of Doucoure travelling is so they can get a medal and, if we do the business, they can join in the celebration.

Uche has obviously had more involvement in getting us here than Cheick, as happy for Cheick as I am, it is disappointing that Uche didn't travel. Absolutely loves us as well. You just know he would be the life of the potential celebrations. He deserves to be here.

Yes really liked Uche, maybe not the greatest striker we’ve ever had but he clearly gave his all and was fast becoming a cult hero and you could tell he loved being at the club
